I've been really addicted to the Battle Factory latley, plus I'm racking in tons of BP for Earthquake. Is Earthquake Special or Physical?

Well, yeah. The premise being that you trade a worthless Pokemon (typically a Bidoof or similar) holding the valuable item.

Also, my Wifi is being gay again. I have no idea what's wrong, I installed the USB connector again the other day, and it worked fine; I got the secret key and everything. I've been a Pokémon player since 1999 and still collect and play the games, though not so much the merchandise anymore. I even have the Japanese version of Platinum, if you want help filling your international 'Dexes.

Guys, I got my Wifi working!! Well... kinda. It's not actually working on my computer (still got no clue what the issue is... probably damn Vista and its weird form of Networking) but my Dad has this old and crappy laptop... but it has XP. And Wifi works on it.

So anyone wanting to trade, battle etc, do it NOW while I'm at home and have access to this craptop!

Well,do you have a dragon scale you could spare?I'm trying to get one for my soon-to-be Seadra for pokedex purposes.

Also,Since I nor any of my friends have leaf green,it has been very hard to get a Magby,but if anyone could spare one I could give you an Elekid or something else if you need it.

May, appears, Dawn appears, but Never Red, or Gold, or Brendan, or Lucas. It really doesn't make sense. Why not just ditch Brock? Or make the team all male for once?

My theory is that the video game, the trading card game, and the anime are treated as separate franchises, and as such, none are entirely consistent with each other.

It also seems like the anime takes bits and pieces of information from the video games and completely ignores others. It would explain the anime physics.

And I believe Brendan and Lucas do get a cameo in Giratina and the Sky Warrior.

I actually do have one - you can have it, since I've already got a Kingdra that I can just trade over to Platinum... eventually. I need to nick a mates' DS first though.

I've also got a Magby if you want. Along with some pretty good egg moves and it's been drugged to high heaven, since I used it once for the "lv 5 cup" thing in Battle Revolution.

Timing's the issue again, but if you can get online at around the same time as Fox, it should make things easier, since you're only an hour ahead of him.

I am glad that I got those timezones out of you guys though.

- no duplicate Pokemon
- no duplicate items
- no soul dew
- evasion clause (here just so nobody gets killed by the first Poke with double team)

Sounds good. I might just add in Sleep clause though, since it's not real fun if the only reason someone won was because they were lucky to have hypnosis hit 6 times in a row.

Sorry I haven't been active latley, I now have to use my phone with EDGE Internet to post (that's around 56-150 k average, just so you know.) I can still play WiFi though I can use my phone as an access point. But what I wanted to ask was a moveset for a Salamence. I EV trained him in Special attack and Physical Attack, the Movest I have now is Dragon Claw, Flamethrower, Shadow Claw, and Crunch. I'm really considering getting rid of Crunch.

Sucks about your internet, but now you understand what Aussie internet is like :P

Anyway, it seems like your Salamence is more a physical sweeper, so I'd probably get rid of Flamethrower for something like Stone Edge to be honest.

Also, Fox, that was an epic battle this morning. Did you save it to your VS recorder by any chance? You could give the crew a blow-by-blow account, higlighting your skills, and blaming my obvious hacking when things don't go quite right :P.

Anyway, it was a great battle. We should do it again some time. Also, it's probably the most use the chatroom's ever had lol.

It definitely was a good battle last night. I made a couple of bad calls, but I still have to give you props to that Blissey that won the match.

By the way, after reviewing the battle video this morning, It seemed like Metagross's meteor mash should have done more damage to Blissey than it did (although I didn't expect Blissey to be KO'd from it anyway), considering it's poor base defense. Just out of curiosity, what is it's defense at lvl 100 anyway?

Well, it's actually 119. I gave it max defence EVs and HP, so that helps its survivability.

And yeah GUnit, bad luck. I couldn't get on today, but maybe tomorrow - which is about 17-18 hours from this post.

I used my Togekiss to get to her. I didn't no she was so easy to beat!
I just used my Aura Sphere 2 times to beat her Empoleon.
And as a normal NGer would say, "I FREAKING OWNED HER!"
By the way, if you were gonna get the gold plate.
Do you need to use the same pokemon that you used the last time you beat her,
or can you use a different pokemon to beat her the second time?

Yeah, I just recently discovered a few of my old pokemon games.

I was thinking of getting back into pokemon and wondered if anyone would like a game?

I have Pokemon Battle Revolution for the Wii, and Pokemon Diamond and Platinum for the DS.
The only problem is, my friend is using my Diamond game for ActionReplay and stuff so I can't use that unless you're using AR too.

Yep, you have to use the same Pokémon, now you have to go for 170 wins. Also I just found out if you were to get 2,000 wins in the battle hall you get 50 BP per round.
