Hey DVS, I thought you said traded pokemon get boosts. The ones I traded didn't, only the Genger which came from the girl in snowpoint. Were you wrong or did I misunderstand?

well did the pokemons you traded originally belonged to you. i think only pokemons from a different trainer get a boost.

You sort of misunderstood.

The pokemon had to originally come from someone else. To check this, check the trainer ID, and if it is anything other than yours, it should get the boost.

So, the boost only involves when a Pokemon does not belong to the original owner? I guess that is to prevent anyone from cheating. Well, that sucks.

But the good thing about having your own Pokemon is that you can rename its nickname. And yes, I tried to rename my Mew, but it does not let me.

The only good reward about maxing out the dex is that you will receive another star on your card. There is five stars in total.

1. Defeat the Champion (which is a no brainer)
2. Have every Pokemon except the event Pokemons
3. Win Master Rank at the Super Contest
4. Get 100 consecutive wins at the Pokemon Tower
5. Capture 50 flags in the Underground

There you go. Most of us may never receive all five stars, but at least that is what brings in the replay value. If a game is easy to pick up and hard to master, chances are that it is fun to play.

The up-grade wasn't the reward. He just got it because he never bothered to find upgrade and got Porygon 2 from a friend. You can get upgrade any time you want from Oak.

I can't save. Well, I can save, but strangely, it deletes the file often. Never messed with AR or anything, and I can't get it to work. A friend of mine said that the exact same thing happened with his Silver.

So, try out yours, and we can see if there is some kind of conspiracy here.

Internal battery failure This is the reason why i am hoping they remake gold and silver. The metal era is my favorite of all the Pokemon games.

Well i just beat diamond again. i rushed through it with Dusknoir, Tyranitar and Cresselia. My final team also had Lucario, Venasuar and Empoleon. I can finally go get a good nature Azelf and Blissey then i shall finally be ready to Wifi battle.
