There are a few reasons, it's not necessarily that you should NEVER bump it, it's just if there's no relevant information to AS: Main, then it's not worth bumping. So reasons:
1. No pertinent information for AS: Main
2. It screws up the links that go to page 9999, so we have to constantly repost the link, while only a few people still have the notepad file, so it's a hassle
3. It's just bumping a ridiculously old topic, which is kind of annoying.
You can post in it thought, it's just you probably only should if you have a 100% sure it's not in AS: Main suggestion for a tutorial to make, or have a tutorial that should be added to the list on the next publishing.

Pretty much what El Presidente said is pretty accurate. Only post if you are posting about a tutorial you made or a tutorial you think should be made. The biggest reason for this is if you post the first post of a new page it ruins the list. However, I will be trying to keep an updated list at the top of each new page. But even when I posted the update for this page it was originally the second post on the page as someone had already posted the new post, thankfully a mod deleted it.

So in a round about way of saying something completely unnecessary, yeah El Presidente is right.

Also if AS:Main makes it to a new page and I update I might take the time to update the authors names as I am aware that a lot of the authors have changed their usernames since writing their topics.

just make a dynamic text box, and where is says "var" in the properties panel, just type the variable you want to display

I could probably do it in AS2, but it needs to be in AS3 for me to put it on my site and, honestly, it's just Greek to me.
