I used to act in high school, and my teacher said that I gave the most compelling performance she's seen in 17 years, since she started. I know how to put emotion into words, and make it work somewhat decent. I just need a better microphone... I'm open to anything but Adult things. Chosendude, your demo is alright as far as you sound, but you reeeally need to redo it, my friend. You did it all in one take and all you did is say "I can do this voice" or w/e, instead of just taking lines or making lines to say and sorta montage them together into an awesome demo. Really, take some time and focus and make a good one. I think your normal voice is my favorite thing of yours though.

I think you slightly missinterpeted their goal. They want this thread to die not because they're against voice actors here or anything, but because the place all of the voice actors that used to inhabit this thread are now at The Voice Acting Club (outside of the Newgrounds forum). There are far more voice actors there, so you get more feedback on demos/voice acting, and more people to help you with any voice acting related problems. Every single producer gets there own audition thread, which makes it easier for them and us, and everyone turns out happier in the end.
Honestely, I don't care about this thread that much. If it dies, then there will be no way for us to direct everyone to the real VAC. They can hold there auditions here too if they desire to do so. Honestely, you should post auditions in as many places as you can. As long as the producers know about the VAC, then I have no real problem.

I'm actually right here because I hate voice actors and harass anybody and anything even remotely to voice acting - which means a majority of flash that pass through here on Newgrounds. I have a special "Voice-O-Meter" rating system where, every time I hear a human voice in a flash, I automatically deduct 1 million gazillion points because, as I may have mentioned before, I truly hate voice acting and all things pertaining to said voice acting.
But since I do voice acting myself, it must be surmised that I hate myself. Yes, yes I do. I hate myself so much while voice acting. I cut deep, luxuriously-portioned chunks of flesh from my bones every time I so much as speak - it has left me a very scarred man. But also thin!
as said before, this thread helps because it gets you everywhere. Not just on that forum, but this one, and so on and so forth. I think if you want voice actors or want to be a voice actor bad enough, you'll whore it like it's your last action :p
