Same Here and the boyscouts arent neo-nazi's the troop i was in had a few muslims, like 10 jews, 15-16 christians in it and the reason homosexuals arent allowed in boyscouts is because in the oath that every boyscout has to memorize it says morally straight and since the boyscouts was built on religious institutions homosexuality is immoral and for the same reason atheists cannot be in boy scouts. Yeah, in our Explorer (Scouts for 14-->18) unit, there are 5 girls, and they do exactly the same as the boys.

Girls don't join TROOP everyone, They don't go through the STANDERED boyscout program. there's a branch that some people do called a Venture Unit, Which is a little diffrent... I'm not in one... It focusses more on community service I think than anything. and yes girls are alowed in VENTURE UNITS, because it's not the offical boysvout program, it's a branch of it though and is run still by the BSA. My point is... Girls don't nessisarly uptain egle scout, they do partisipate... espeicaly say a girl with three brothers involved in Boyscouts... joining a venture unit with them alows them to partisipate.

I really don't think that many scouts really have a problem with anyone from another religion, race, or sexual orientation. The problem comes to a point when the adults in the Boy Scout troop/Explorer Post/Venture Crew are just ill informed racist bigots who's heads are stuck so far up their asses that they cannot even see that the world has changed since they were youth. If anyone disagrees that is your opinion. I do not ahve to agree with it. I just have to live with it.
I never been to Boy Scouts before, and the ban of homosexuals.......really sickening me. Boy Scouts sucked bad. You need to go to a different scouts that lets you do anything you want, right after you quit the Boy Scouts. Good luck.
