Well...hello people. My best char is Pikachu - i just kick ass with him. My friend is also pretty good, his best char is ness. I dunno how he uses him (Ness is slow as molasses)

Oh... well, ness is too slow for me. His jump is like slo-mo compared to pikachu. A lot of the time, when im playin ssbm, im just playing around with my opponent. (Unless its my Ness friend, then i gotta play seriosuly) Pikachu is the ultimate char for this. I basically run circles around my enemy...That, and his strong attacks kick ass. Finally, his up "A" attack while in air keeps me amused. I have kept people up in the air for overa minute!
Anyway, i can use little link, marth (Not Roy for some reason, same with Big Link) and mewto. Mewto is alos fun, since he teleports liek Crazy.
Anyway, they should have like national tournaments, where you get teh best 2 person teams in the US to play and stuff.... Me and my friend are pretty awesome.
I am good at ssb because of kirby's great offence. I also use the sheild alot so people cant hurt me of even touch me.

You mean his downb. Its good but you are very vulnerable to throws and if you are on a hill you slide. But i do use that to my advantage hard to get right though

Has anyone notice that it seems that no human player can get out of DK's pick-up and walk of the edge grab? It's actually kind funny. I dunno, its the character I use the most and am best with so, just thought I'd comment...
General strategies I use:
If its sitting there, take it - basically when you have the chance throw anything you can pickup at another player (even other players). Of course, if you have the chance, use the item on them first...
Lightsabers are fun - use the beamsaber to keep someone from getting back on...its one of the best weapons to use to keep someone from getting a grip on the edge (IMO) If you have to, throw it at them...(see above)
Shields save lives - yes, yes they do...use the shield liberally
take a few to kill a few - its okay to take a couple hits if it gets you in the right direction...
Jump strategically - basically, don't jump like a rabbit on crack, someone with great timing can blow you off the screen with a bomb or a projectile, but do use it to dodge...
Be a "cheap" shit - yes you heard me, kill someone fighting someone else, take people with you when you die, basically take advantage of any situation that you can.
Stay calm and keep a clear head- okay, so you died and they're pissing you off, forget about it. You're main objective is to knock the other guy off the screen, getting angry is just going to make you play worse and see less of whats going on (especially with 4 people playing at once)
Last of all...
Don't BITCH when you lose!!! Okay, so you lost, you'll probably play some more rounds later on, you've seen how your opponent plays, the characters they like, and the items they like using, react accordingly...

Holy Freakin crap! My friend and I were playing a 30 minute rounds of ssbm. I was Jigglypuff and my friend was Fox. I left to get a drink and when I got back, my friend had been killing me while i was gone. anyways when i looked at the screen, fox was doing something i had never seen him do before( which is strange because i have played this game since it came out). Fox was faceing the screen, hunched over, and shaking. after about 3 seconds, Fox pointed his fist at the sky, and his teammates from starfox started talking to him. just like in the starfox intro in adventure mode. i realized that my friend had just found a secret new super taunt! after a day or two of experimenting, i figured out how to do it. so here it is! ###With Falco or Fox, play on either Starfox level, press on the d-pad, not up, but alternate between left and right!### it takes a long time to finish, and if you get hit it stops, and CAN ONLY BE ATTEMPTED ONCE PER MATCH! so if you start it and get hit it cant be done again that match. Alright now everybody try this! (training mode makes it very easy to do.)
oh and you have to press left and right REALLY FAST!
