Since fancy pants world 2 and 3 aren't mentioned thought I'd suggest bindings
World 2:
D-Pad and Left Stick - Arrow Keys - Movement
A Button - S Key - Jump
Optionally B could also be mapped to the Up Arrow Key like the console games
For world 3 the bindings would be the same but with the X Button binded to the A Key for the Pencil Sword you unlock in the game

I added the B button support and the pencil sword now. The series should otherwise be mapped so let me know if any aren't working - I had used a template for some and there's always a chance something was broken there.
So, I have an old Xbox 360 controller with a USB cord, but it can be wireless. I probably still need to download a plugin or something if I plug it into a MacBook, right?

I think the older Xbox controllers were wireless for Xbox but it wasn't actually Bluetooth, so not sure what is involved with getting it to work on a Mac, if it can just plug in and work or not.
Undead End is still really cool, now with gamepad support:

Another addendum: Start button could pause Tuper Tario Tros. with the P key
These are both all set!
How could I miss that?!
No wonder I was able to play it with my Bluetooth controller.
Thanks a bunch, no, a LOT, for making this happen!
Finally. We got it. Now we can play those games with controller.
Can you use Nintendo Switch Online controllers (NES, SNES, Genesis, N64, & GameCube) to play these controller supported flash games?

If they work on your PC they should work here, if anyone tries, report back!

Its my Favorite Classic Sonic Platformer of all time.
Done!
Hell yeah my dude! It works like a charm!
(I'll just link to a gif now, in case it wont play in here).
I tried it out. Put a USB-C adapter in my phone, a PS5 controller into that.
And super funny thing about the mouse support here. Android seems to natively use that trackpad on the PS5 controller as a mouse cursor. And I can fully navigate my phone with it, like I would with my finger. But I can click on anything I want with it, EXCEPT for anything going on, inside the Ruffle screen, for some bizare reason.
What also would be a cool work-around for that, is if there would be an extra button mapped, that just functions at that mouse-click, where the cursor is currently at.
(I also had to set the browser on my phone to desktop-mode, btw, to bypass the device incompatibility error message, but that was no problem for me)
(And going full -screen kinda gets me that semi-unused space at the edges of the screen, might wanna get a kinda black border layed over that area for when you right-click to hit full-screen, or some neat border art! ';D)

I'm not sure what our capabilities are regarding mapping controllers to mouse clicks but will see.

Josh has made an update to bypass the blocker, it might be launching today!

We were tinkering with our Ruffle parameters to add black bars but it doesn't appear to be a working feature in Ruffle at the moment, hoping with a future update we will be able to do that.

This one was a pretty tricky keybind...
These should be all set!

You do realize, you just wrote the same thing that I did in page 1.
Man, after beating Road of the Dead on hard mode again now with controller, and all those screen shake effects in-game, now I can't help wonder about the practicality of adding haptic feedback. Which I can only imagine is near impossible unless you hack the game itself.
Since we have controller functionality for classic Flash games, next year's Flash Forward jam theme should be about integrating local multiplayer lol, just to take advantage of this new feature!

having a gimmick would be cool, i like the idea - but i'm worried that it might scare potential participants off
I'm surprised no one did a mapping for this game yet
Left & Right arrow keys = D-Pad
Up arrow key = Down face button
Down arrow Key = Left face button
Please someone make a mapping on Earn to Die games!

Forgot to mention this last time I hopped on to this thread! But I did try to use my Switch controller and it somehow only works with the Y and X buttons. Can't move anywhere with the analog stick or D-pads strangely enough. Even tried to customize the mapping and saved a template but that didn't do anything new. Might be something to do with the compatibility or something I'm missing here?
