For some brief history, the first Pico Day was organized in the forums in 2006 and my birthday was selected as the date. We ended up making it an official event each year afterwards but I tried to move it away from my birthday because it felt weird. I also tried to make it a broader celebration of Newgrounds, however it remained Pico-centric. Adding to the awkwardness, people would still post fan art on my birthday, so it felt like I was making a mess.
This year is the 30th Anniversary of Newgrounds and there are a number of 30th Anniversary projects in the works, so I decided to just get back to basics and have Pico Day on my birthday. There’s a decent chance it will stay this way from now on, as a more informal event for anyone who wants to make something to celebrate the site each year.

Mobile movie view page has new visual gaps - Fixed
Images dragged into text editor always appear at the bottom - Partly fixed, second image drag can end up in wrong spot.
Can't replay a video after it ends - Fixed
Can't embed video - Fixed
Video and Audio Player pull focus from text editor inputs - Fixed
Can't view the list of user emotes of something has multiple emotes - Fixed
Voting broken on mobile (Android and iPhone) - Fixed
Image uploads showing as text links in author commentary - Fixed
Mobile art view page hamburger menu doesn't open - Investigating
