NG is turning 30 this year. And has become a place where artists of all kinds can make their dreams, aspirations and passions a reality. That is the idea behind this thread!

Who inspired you on here? Whose art do you admire the heck out of? Who has supported you and helped you grow as an artist?

Tag 'em and share some of their works here! I'd love to discover more amazing people on here, whether they have been here for years or just joined! Heck, you can even do a surprise artwork like the one featured above for that artist or artists, if you have the time and want to!

I was away from NG for a couple of days and I come back to wholesome-posting. Thank you so much for the tag and for designing such cute grills, L3ny! I've definitely been looking at them respectfully from afar. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Let me preface by saying that I'm fairly new to NG so I haven't had the chance to truly experience many artists here yet. That being said, I think I have a few cool folks to contribute to the mix.

First is a homie that I've known for a while, rayshadow . He posts super regularly and has so much spirit in his work. It's always a joy to see all your art (shitposts included) in my feed, my dude! Just such a fun and inspired style.

P.S: I wish I could pump out the sheer quantity and quality of work you do. -v-

Next up is another homie that I've known for a while, SketchMeNot . I actually encountered her on Deviantart way back and really loved her OC, Mizore. Since then we've been mutuals on like every platform we're both on, it seems! I know we don't interact much directly but you're super cool and have great taste in games and anime.

Last one I want to mention is yet another person I met on Deviantart first but then followed onto other platforms, omegachainoboy . We were also mutuals at some point but I've been super inactive on DA for years before proceeding to nuke my entire account so that's definitely ancient history by now. Nonetheless, I'm happy to have found him on NG where I can continue to deeply admire his pixel art mastery. : >

13 years ago I used to play many games from newgrounds. I cannot remember exactly what the games were, but there were mostly fighting games and fighting games, but with stickmen lol. Years later in 2021 I'd remembered that this old ahh website exists, so I went back, and made a new account since I didn't have access to the old one.

Hey guys! I've been on Newgrounds since 2022, but my track record goes beyond that, circa 2006. I remember playing many Mario and Sonic Flash games in my youth, Stickman games, Assassin games, Megaman games, the list could go on and on that I can't even remember much of 'em.

I'm an aspiring artist and beginner animator. Programming and music isn't my forte, but I'm trying to learn 'em.

My main inspirations are PhantomArcade, ninjamuffin99, evilsk8r, SrPelo, the man himself Tom Fulp, Video Games Directors Cut (RIP), BlackDevilX (RIP), Egoraptor, MindChamber and many creators of Flash games and movies I can't remember cuz it's too many or just far gone on my head. Shouting out to them!

@borcheim makes absolutely gorgeous art of guilty gear characters, especially dizzy! Love her colors and lineless style

Really cool designs and character concepts :D I really love styles like this, they reminds me of nostalgic cartoon series for some reason ^-^ And your characters seem well defined in their own universes.
