I really like the one in Bowser's Inside Story. The way the water reflects to show Bowser's castle in contrast to Peach's is so simple yet effective.
I agree for sure, the Bowser's Inside Story title screen is what I would've answered with too. Might be my favorite title screen in any game, for the imagery you described and the music too. I really don't like what they went with for the title screen for the remake on Nintendo 3DS.
NGL, the remake's take is a downgrade. Which is fitting, because from what I know, the remake in general is a downgrade other then some quality of life features.
Obligatory persona series post.
I LOVE the tittle screens for each original release of the Hashino era games.
Royal's title screen is cool but I prefer the vibes and the music of the original.
Vanilla P4's title screen hits like a truck with that presentation.
mario 64 i get to fidget with his little fat face
Dumbass
Super Mario Maker and Super Mario Maker 2 title screens are cool becausw you can play the game before you actually get in to the game. It also saves your own level to there.
Rivals of Aether title screen is very calm for a fighting game. No music just ambience sounds. Cool thing is that it's taken from the big climax part in the story mode.
Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow is pretty neat.
If you would like to MAKE MONEY from your Flash, be sure to check out these options:
Fallout
this title screen has barely any motion graphics and it gives me goosebumps every time I start it up
There's actually a ton that i like, but if i had to choose would be CBFD and Pizza Tower
In Conker case, the fact there's no title screen and striaght up sends you to the main menu. And instead of just a menu it puts you into the world you're getting into. Feels cozy and satisfying.
Tf2 and watch dogs have always been my favorites! Ultrakill too but I can't find a high quality screenshot
Kingdom Hearts - PlayStation 2
This game got something that catches every single player that had stumbled upon it. You probably know what it is but let me run it down for you...
Works that come from consoles especially from something like the ps2 always have this kind of otherworld aesthetic, despite not meeting the expectations from this type of console libraries, it may be the only one that actually features the travel and discoveries of other worlds.
It looks simple but it is necessary I mean most of the games from the old gen were really simple that's probably why something like dearly beloved is iconic.
I'm not explaining the actual title screen I do not feel like doing that now... Hopefully you begin to appreciate this more and more but for now let's read what other users have to say.
the portals, specifically portal 2 and the way the screen shows what part of the game you're in.
I've seen some good ones on here, but this one sticks out in my mind.

Mine definitely has to be the deadcells title screen which looks FLIPPIN AMAZING!!!!
I literally bought this game for the 3DS, thought it was mid, but loved the title theme so much, so, after finishing it, I just decided to open the game to listen to the title theme from time to time. It is such a catchy song.

portal is so fucking cool
Neon White goes hard AF
Ristar has a hype title screen. From the music, the idle animation, and the presentation just screams fun!
Don't forget to brush your hands and wash your teeth!
The one from the first Last of Us game's surprisingly cozy.

Woah, I have no clue what this is, but I now want to know everything.
yoshi's island, dbz budokai tenkaichi 3, shark tale for ps2 (im serious it just looks good)
I love the title screen from Pikmin 3, combined with the music it's such a serene and whimsical thing, I love it and the game itself so much

Touhou's menus have always had a certain charm to them that's reallllllly hard to explain. I think EoSD and MoF display this charm the best, in terms of mainline games.
