I was assigned The Tested Hero.

I tried going for a thingie where a guy has to take down an aquatic monstrosity terrorizing the freezer section of his local Walmart, and I think I did okay. Not overly proud of it, and i'll def remaster it later.

Hope you guys like it.

A. https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/1394392. Powerfully Stricken.

B. Bond of a Father and Son.

C. Went for a loopable battle theme here, yet still managed to get it clocking in at almost 3 and a half minutes though. Tried to capture as many emotions and parts of the battle as possible with a slight fantasy feel. I hope it sounds good and you like it.

B: Corpse labyrinth

C: water (or maybe cave) level.

quite the ambience i made but i couldn't stop my electro-driven urge to apply some beats there. i kinda feel like i would do better at the challenge if there were some groups that didn't became full too quickly... (especially Grab Chop Swing Blow)

C: Tried to make it as jazz as possible, aiming for a theme song for da' Boss (thanking him for his generosity as well).

Hope y'all like it :D

B. Corpse Labyrinth

C. i tried making something dark and broody, got bored, forgot i signed up for this, remembered all of a sudden a couple days later, panicked, started working on finishing it, got bored, realized i still had a lot of time to spare, messed around, gave up on making it dark and broody, had fun finishing it without the pressure of making it dark and edgy, mastered it, rendered it, forgot about it, and only today did i remembered i had it ready to ship.

i hope you guys like it. i learned a lot from this experience. who says the Corpse Labyrinth doesn't double a sick skeleton and bugs party?

I make music and people like it sometimes.

B: Turning the Tides of War

C: I took a dramatic approach, blending a cinematic orchestral style with a more intense drum & bass. This felt like a good combination to compliment the setting set up for the theme. There's a sense of grandiosity in the movie-like cityscape, but at the same time, a sense of urgency and gravity with the context.

B. The Tested Hero

C. First thing that caught my attention was the end boss battle, so I decided to go for that with this song/soundtrack. One of the inspirational songs in the google doc was DOOM so I had to make it metal. Everything is meant to be easily repeatable for however long the end boss fight would be. And it's complete with a possible second phase theme that picks up the pace and gets a little heavier. Decided to add strings for the first time but kept them a little buried to support the guitars and themes.

This was really fun, thanks for involving me :)
