Reactions are big on Newgrounds! I'm gonna have to listen to some more NG Radio! Work music is always needed. 😄

Takeover Tuesday is such an awesome addition to NG, and it looks like it's only going to get better from here on out. Keep up the good work Tom!
In the 1 year that this update has existed, I have not liked how the "gallery" option of the Art Portal works.
Scrolling is clunky, it only lets me scroll 5 pages before it gets stuck and I have to stop to make another scroll,
If would be nice if:
a. the highlighted page automatically scrolls, rather than move to the start
b. there was a scroll wheel there
c. a page count, either in the main view or in full-screen
Examples:
Asking because I've been prepping up a comic and I want a smooth experience.

Mark the date everyone, I unreservedly agree with frog (it actually does happen more than you might think). I understand that there are competing priorities but it seems like a few changes would help immensely. Being brutally honest, most of the early momentum from the gallery being released was lost due to just how bad it is for reading comics. I know several people who have chosen not to put their comic up on NG because of it, some of them with very high follower counts here. That's crazy. Culturally and in a ton of other ways, NG is a really natural fit for comics and I think they could be a draw to the site.
It would be amazing for the gallery to feel some of the love from the ongoing invisible update.
[Edit: @Anonymous-Frog , this helps a bit:]
My god, y'all. The Frog and AKA1, coming together, agreeing on a topic. I think we need to make these changes, so that we can have Peace in Our Time. We may not ever be able to solve the Middle East, or even Nintendo vs Sega, but we could make history here and bring upon a new age on Newgrounds. Please do this, Newgrounds Staff. Implement the changes to the Art Portal. Make Streaming Smooth Again!
That Art Portal update was great but yeah, the Comic format could be made a liiiiiittle bit comfier to read!
NG is the only website that actually gets better when updates are made.

We had another great turnout and unearthed some real gems! The star of the day was Rapid Hedgehog Cucumber 1, a movie from 2011 that dominated the Hot Item spot. This movie went from having nine reviews to 50, a nice success story from this new event!
The second most featured item was THAT AIN’T FALCO by @RudeJackArt, who previously storyboarded for Adult Swim.
Speaking of Adult Swim, LordSpew would like you to watch his Fisthead episodes! Your interest could help kick off a whole season for television.
@Jaime-R featured Clock Legends and it made me realize we didn’t have a Clock Day 2003 collection; we hadn’t started cataloging those until 2005. The Clock Day 2003 collection now exists, along with 2002 and 2004.
Participants in Takeover Tuesday may have noticed two enhancements this week: Artists now receive a notification if their work is featured and reactions to featured items will now show up in the notifications of the person who featured the item.
Thank you everyone who has helped make Takeover Tuesday a success so far and thank you for Supporting NG! We’re always in need of more Supporters, so consider giving Takeover Tuesday a shot and also consider a recurring subscription, vs a single month.
To put it in perspective, if ten people become $3 single month Supporters every Tuesday, after fees NG makes ~$100 per month. If instead ten people become $3 monthly subscription Supporters each week, by the end of one year NG is looking at a recurring ~$1,300 per month, which has a more tangible impact.
One last Supporter note - we're dealing with a bug this week where some Supporters are showing as not being Supporters. If this happens to you, PM me and I can fix your status.
Newgrounds Radio
@BrenthEMan has made multiple updates to NG Radio this year. Track selection is now considerably better and tracks won’t repeat if they’ve been played in the past four hours. If you’re trying to find a song you just heard, there’s now a list of recently played tracks. You can also ask Alexa to stream Newgrounds Radio, which is pretty cool!
You might also see NG Radio in the big box sometimes, when there are live podcasts like the recent SrPelo interview.
Halloween Spooktacular
Our Halloween Spooktacular is in progress and we’d love more sponsors to increase the prizes!
If you have the means and love Halloween, donate on our Supporter page and PM me a heads up you donated towards the Spooktacular. You can also specify which category.
Best of September
Our Best of September were announced on Monday and we now include winners and prizes for art and music.
That's all for today, thanks for reading!
Oh one more thing - the emoji reactions were updated to be scaled down less.
the empire ants is attacking me ahhh
Rapid Hedgehog Cucumber (Cucumber) [original name too long] was just what I needed. The comedy is perfect.

Hey tom, off topic but thoughts on my NG shirt? https://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/1539009#bbspost27960632_post_text
Idk if this is best place to suggest but:
Anyone else feel the page layout for Takeover Tuesday needs a grid/thumbnail layout instead of a row? Perhaps even segmented into game/art/music etc. Big long lists are a lil intimidating to sift through when the thumbnail has such little emphasis.
Not saying it shoud be a priority. My even hotter take would be to do away with Frontpage content on the Tuesdays so the Takeover Tuesday stuff has more breathing room.

I can see where u comin from and I agree but from what I can recall, Tom has stated that it was deliberately made to be just a little tad annoying to convince peepz to support NG. :P

Maybe @SouljaBoy could sponsor the feature and we'll name it "Crank That"

I genuinely didn't expect to find out Soulja Boy was once on Newgrounds today.
Or that he once gave Newgrounds a shoutout (Wayback link because Twitter is gonna die one day).
More seriously, that idea would probably work for an April Fool's prank.
