You may have noticed art collab gallery viewers weren’t included in the game nominees this month. There’s been a tendency for these to beat out games in the monthly awards and we feel that it is discouraging to game developers, as the gallery viewers aren’t technically games. It would be nice to find a place for them in the monthly awards but it’s also difficult to award prize money to entries that have so many participants.

The nominees aren't finalized until voting starts on the 7th but a decent option would be to browse top scoring featured entries from the previous month (that link goes to September). You could vote highly on ones you like and favorite ones you really like, so when the nominee list goes live, those entries will already be sorted at the top.
