Brazil (Brasil in Portuguese) has banned X / Twitter, so a lot of Brazilian artists are on other platforms this weekend.

I've been here for years now, and got booted off twitter at least once. Now it's not even because an algorithm got angry at me...

I do game development but I mostly draw/model a lot. Here's some of my recent work:

Recently I have been trying to avoid X/Twitter due to disinterest and misinformation that constantly flows around the platform but at times I check the platform to follow a current trend like the "FNAF 10th Anniversary", now my retirement from X is now probably permanent.


If I have to give an opinion on this removal, on one hand it's not like Brazil government solution of removing X is going to fix anything that isn't the pure fact of intimidating the Musk's X Team, it gives a view to what will happen to Facebook, TikTok or Reddit in a near future around the country and this decision DEFINITELY hurt many companies that works closely on X in Social Media management and advertisement nationally or not. On the other hand Musk's is a fucking clown, he is the one representing the social media, working as CEO or not, and he shows negligence throughout everyone in contact with him, his team, his public and the Brazilian politicians with the memes he posts with intentions of people blindly going beside him. The only fix to this debacle is removing Musk out of the game, like it's ever going to happen.


Besides all of that this is just my opinion, at least I will get sometime without this platform.

It's quite strange to promote my attempts to create something interesting in blender after everything that's been happening on twitter, but here we go.

I've been learning to use blender since the beginning of the year and I'm slowly becoming a 3D artist I think, and I'm using social networks as a form of motivation so that I don't end up giving up so easily, but without further ado, my “works” so far And the gang from Brazil won't go away so easily! I'm from Brazil, but i never got my twitter really going and i always hated that environment.


As a matter of fact, Newgrounds have always been my main source of growth, since it is free from stupid things like algorithms that creators are forced to adapt to (such as having to post all the time in order to be even seen) and, quite ironically, internal "secret" censorship such as shadowbanning NSFW artists.

Actually, come to think of it, Sete de Setembro (AKA Brazil Independence Day) is just around the corner, a week from now.

Would anyone like to host a little art contest to celebrate some of new Brazilian friends comin, not to mention the recent invasion of Brazilian Miku and show case some Brazilian related art. I'd throw some money down for that.
