It was pretty basic. Just Homer in a plugsuit. I washed to spice it up so I started drawing a donut-based Eva but it really wasn’t working and I just gave up.

AS OF JULY 21st, 2024
38 users expressed interest, 30 users have submitted, 32 drawings have been submitted.
This accounts for all the submissions I have recieved from both DM and this thread in particular, recently one user provided me three submissions VIA DM which I accounted for in the documentation.
ADDITIONALLY IN CASE SOME OF YOU GUYS DON'T FOLLOW MY BLOG I AM GOING TO BE PROMOTING THE COLLAB ON MY END UNTIL THE END OF NOVEMBER. That way we can still get potential interest going. This collab has been going very strong so far and it would be awesome if this ended up hitting a new threshold for how many submissions we can get in one collab!

ALRIGHTY FRIENDOS IT'S ALMOST BEEN A MONTH SINCE I UPDATED THE STATS ON THIS PROJECT SO ALLOW ME TO SHARE THESE NUMBERS WITH YOU!
After counting all the numbers: 35 users have submitted, 39 drawings have been submitted.
This is also including anyone who submitted their work VIA DMs, not just the thread.
Due to the amount of people who have made submissions and those who are expressing interest, I've decided to simplify the statistics for myself and narrow it down to those who have submitted so far. That said, I'm no longer counting those who express interest for the sake of keeping things more organized for myself.
I DO HOWEVER ENCOURAGE ANYONE WHO IS EXPRESSING INTEREST TO FOLLOW THE THREAD, AS WELL AS TAKING A SHOT AT SUBMITTING IF THEY WISH! As long as the work is your own then you are more than welcome to submit anything you wish even if it's shit post quality.
Trust me, it's less fun for me to enforce higher standards for a collab like this. No need to be a perfectionist!

Back in November of 2023, @Taytonium started a project where he would draw homer every day.

SO HERE ARE THE GUIDELINES MY HUMBLE NG’ers.
WHAT YOU MUST DRAW:
- At least one Homer per submission.
WHAT YOU CAN OPTIONALLY INCLUDE IN YOUR SUBMISSIONS:
- One other resident of Springfield or Any Real World Celeb.
- Don’t hold back on referencing pop culture in your Homer, you can be as abstract as you wish or even parody something in your Homer!
- Your OC
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Submissions must be at least 500 x 500 minimum and a maximum of 1000 x 1000
- There’s no holding back on creativity, just have fun, relax and cut loose. You can make something that’s absolute shit post quality or you can go HARD.
- ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST BE MADE WITH TRANSPARENCY
RESTRICTIONS:
- Keep the project T rated! - Minimal violence and adult humor is fine, don’t do anything Matt Groening wouldn’t do!
- No Pornographic content! While some innuendo is acceptable if it falls past the T rating going into M territory the submission shall be declined.
- To represent as many artists as possible while allowing as many Homers as possible, you may submit up to 10 HOMERS.
- Anything submitted without a Homer shall be declined
- No Ai Submissions
- And remember! Make it FUNNY
- Make it OUTRAGEOUS
- Make it HOMER
DEADLINES: The Hard deadline shall be on November 28th of 2024. There shall be a soft deadline that will fall the week prior to this, but no submissions shall be accepted past this point. You will have four months to make as many HOMERS as possible. As with the last collaboration I hosted, you needn’t worry about the quality of your work unless you want to go hard. You may post your submissions here or DM them to me VIA the Newgrounds DMs.
