It appears a bunch of people have gotten logged out of their accounts. At first we thought the common thread was Chrome for Android, then just Chrome in general but now we have a report from Pingu who was using Firefox.
If you’ve recently been logged out of NG unexpectedly, please reply to this post letting us know that it happened. Include what day it happened, your operating system, browser and browser version if possible. Do you recall what you were doing on NG when it happened? Also let us know if you get logged out more than once and/or if you’ve been logged out from other sites as well.
We're especially curious to hear if anyone experienced this as early as June 12th (or earlier).

16th June (I have the login code email still)

and I use Edge
only happened once and as far as I know I hadn't done anything just opened up Newgrounds to check it for the day (will say I did change my email address 6 days prior because I realised I setup the account with my old email I no longer use)
wasn't logged out of any other sites
I'm guessing someone accidentally elbowed the servers at the office or something so find the guy with the longest elbows

Did not get logged out from Safari on iOS 17.4.1 despite another user reporting they did on the same browser and iOS version.
Also somehow didn't notice my Supporter status ended, fixed that now |･ω･｀)

I might try putting some effort in shilling Newgrounds on sites like tumblr (I notice people on there have started bitching about the site's quality gradually decreasing) and hopefully people will support if they hop over
I might try asking the people on the Free Stars discord server to support Newgrounds (only if they are interested) but do a little hint hint nudge nudge by bringing up that the founder of Newgrounds gave the kickstarter a shoutout and even helped back it so yknow something something paying the generosity back

I got logged out automatically on June, 20th. Using PC, Windows 10, Firefox Version 127.0. Updated to 127.1 today, renewed my NG cookie, seems to work now. I don't use Nord VPN. Hope that may help.

everything's fine for me - never been logged off from NG, the website works great without vpn & with some chrome vpn extension (which is definitely not the best & safest & stable thing ever but i never had issues with newgrounds using it)

I had to log back into Newgrounds on my computer this morning, on June 20. I do not remember intentionally logging out of my account before then. I use Windows 11 and Google Chrome ver.126.0.6478.114.

I got logged out while using my macbook (2017 model, macOS Ventura 13.6.7) and my firefox browser, which is also up to date. This was probably either the 17th or the 18th and in the early afternoon. I wasn't in the middle of doing much other than checking the front page, and I was able to log back in with no problem at all. I didn't get logged out of anything else, and I just assumed it was just a thing that happened because of maintenance or something.

I'm just some dork who's loved NG since 2004, yet isn't very artistic himself. You should check out my massive favorites lists.
It was just now that I had been logged out from my browser, even with cookies. Using Opera as the browser of choice if that helps with anything (since it is Chromium based).
Also this time around, it did not ask me to type in a 2FA code via email, not sure if this was removed or if there is a small bug, but that's also something I noticed when logging in. (Typing this message before scrolling down the rest of the comments.)

Yep, happened to me yesterday (Thursday, June 20) in the evening, so early morning your time. I opened up Brave (version 1.66.1, which updated on Wednesday it looks like) on my iPhone 15 Pro Max using iOS 17.5.1, checked my notifications on Newgrounds. Then after that was done, I went to my profile page, then closed the app. But then I remembered I needed to check on one more thing on Newgrounds, so I opened up Brave again. But even though I had left Newgrounds open on my profile while logged in, I was logged out. I haven't been logged out since, and I remained logged into everything else.
I was logged out overnight when I opened newgrounds this morning ! ( June 20th )

Crazy hypothetical but what if you had a pay to view system for movies or behind the scenes, and take a small percentage for hosting or something. That way creators can make money and the site too! With NSFW artists and whomever else getting the axe from those patron sites, I'm sure they'd feel a lil safer with the freedom and independence NG has. And if 'someone' made like an entire movie and hosted it here, that would be gold. I have no idea what kinda legal trouble and tax bullshit that would ensue but I thought it be interesting and work symbiotically.
