I was so sure Gouda-anon would not deliver, very surprised to see a lot of work done AND that he represented his opponent, I', clapping, go my team, also the pun-way of speaking is quite clever. Stitch entry was real good as well mind you, their Gouda was adorable. Actually it was so adorable it drew my attention even more.

How difficult it is to vote in a collaborative effort, since they are helping each other instead of competing. With that said, the helping each other made for a great entry, among the strongest ones. Plenty of fun moments. The thought-reading scene was superb comedy. I will give the vote to Frankie entirely for plot reasons in this one, since as a character she approached the theme more directly.

Also, is the "untainted" thing a virginity reference?

I'm a great defender of the validity of one-image entries, but that does not mean they will win. Evelin entry was strikingly somber. Left a bad taste in my mouth, but in a good way, it was surprising.

Both entries were strong, I liked the convictions depicted in Vera's one. But ultimately I found Sack's entry more fun and ingenious, the way Vera was defeated with the established elements was joyful.

Whimsical as ever, it really felt different than the usual, quite loved this one entry. A striking short. Boxing wizard entry was good as well but I prefered Dizzy's due to imagination.

I am being unkind voting for myself for the first time ever. Why? Because I UUHHHH don't want my character to be raped. A bit too heavy for her.

But I found ant's entry great, it felt like an horror story, a gut punch delivered. The artstyle suits it wonderfully as well.

Another tough one! I would define it as a laser cannon vs a series of missiles. Mishka-anon going trad and playing with the medium to fight against their unlucky circumstances was kino. I however will say I think Michael was way better characterized in the digital entry. Michael (is it Michael or Micheal???) entry was overall a great piece, it would make for a compelling standalone short story on its own. In the end I will vote for him, but both deserve praise.

This was a collaboration, was it not? Surprised to see that, both entries flow together wonderfully. I had more laughs with the Wietse one, although the "you might know this one painter" joke in Awesoman really got me.

I actually thing being concise did Sae entry wonders, I liked it, but the Admiral one was just insane, a blast.

SOREN AND CENTURION

Tredecima is terrifying, a great antagonist. Op as fuck. Linking it to 9/11 was amusing and a cool detail. Also god I wish that were me. However Soren's animatic and music choice actually made my blood rise, it was so fun and exciting. Probably my favorite entry of this round along with Cassidy's. Really showed power level.

Really doubted this one. I think Sanguine could have done a bit more to characterize Ferfou in the entry mostly. On the other hand Ferfou did more but i'm not sure if the characterization was right, either way, ultimately he has a bit of edge to my taste.

That preview was hilarious, and I'm excited to see more. But ultimately Tripp delivered properly and it was a great one. I like those types that seem relaxed and unassuming but are actually good plotters playing on their strengths. Also untied hair, good, good, good.

Celia had a fun, compelling, entertaining, and on-theme entry. The Berlo joke was really funny, but it is ultimately an in-joke and her real rival never delivered. Definitely has my vote, from her introduction alone I knew it would be a very competent participant.

I quite like the characterization of Morgan in hers, but a mix of the trad-chadding, color, and more complex plot in Rhea's entry made it win. Some parts did require my brain to overheat slightly but in general it worked really well.

Both great entries, it was a joy to see Kav deliver a full entry and the art was kino. I just liked the storyline of Dylan's entry a bit more in how it showed both characters.

Z entry was good, but it felt like he is planning for future battles and by thinking of the forest he forgot about the tree. Cassidy entry was probably on the contender of the best ones from this round, charming all around, beautiful art and plot, kino when she sticks for the Empire. Loved it. GO TEAM TEA- no wait.

It's hard for me to consider who deserves the win here. Make no mistake, Desmond entry was amazing. Really if complete one of the best, and I had a policy to forgive "overshooting" in this first round (but I will be merciless the next round if this repeats). But Love entry was also great and I really was surprised by her characterization, her enjoying feeling was excellent. I would abstain if I could. By the same logic I voted Oji-san I should vote Desmond. But I guess I will set the example and vote Love this one.

A hard one. This was a great matchup, super enjoyable on both sides. I'd vote both if I could, I will ultimately give it to Cheras even if I hate not voting for Janny, simply because she despicted Janny as a badass more and put more content. But the still of Janny riding with the "horse" and music and the chud emperor really got me.

I really wanted to vote for Luigi, since his entry was so fun and it involved more crabs. And then it was incomplete. In the end it seems im not forgiving shit. Might be THE toughest entry to vote for! Both entries were great. Florida Man made me laugh more (WAAAGH!), but ultimately I felt Sentimia one was more memorable in the resolution, so I will pick her.

Godefroy overdid it, certainly. Magai delivered a shorter submision, but memorable. However I will be forgiving this first round only, since despite me having some criticism of Godefroy entry (make it shorter, meander less) it also had plenty of moments that really got me or were incredibly cool and despicted the characters better it felt. Godefroy anon has a great sense of comedy timing.

Hime my beloved. Those horses made me spit. She is such a lovable dumbass, and the action was really well thought out and cool. With that said, Mr Overkill entry was irrefutably masteful, loved his characterization as a scumbag and the little exchange with Sanguine.

I enjoyed the characterization given to Dev even more considering how little info there was about her. The whole plot with the BBW's was slightly confusing though, but I had fun..

Gouda's adventures are ... something. The rough art style serves the story well.

Considering the topic, I think the panel depicting Kome from the ant's point of view could have been done in a less objectified manner by having her just standing normally and spending a few panels zooming to the ant as one example.

they're both great, Awesoman with the PEAK art, Wietse with the PEAK jokes, but since I have to pick I have to go with Wietse, love the dynamic with wietse and hitler and discovering about how hitler is some fucking idea guy NEET who never sits down and actually finish things through, he's just like me fr fr.

This was a tough choice. I was at the edge of my seat. Unsure whether it was her time or not. I really like how she reflects upon herself during the fight and that sort of gave it more edge against Ant's comic. Ant's comic was great too. I was taken aback by how perfect the song fit with the style. A damn entertaining matchup.

While Gouda's entry looks prettier, it being unfinished with it's messy lines sometimes gets in the way of clearly understanding what's happening in certain scenes. Even then, the deciding factor was the fact that Gouda's story doesn't really have anything happen in it.

Sanctus' story had a much more fun premise while Davok's had a higher quality of art and dialogue to it. Though between the two, Sanctus' story had more to do with the idea than Davok's.

Soren and Centurion's animation was so wonderfully beautiful that it made me actually feel something in my cold dead heart. I had no idea how Tredecima could top it-- and I'm sorry, but that animatic was way too good, I don't think anybody could have beaten it. I don't care how cool your dad is, Soren's dad was in the MI6, and his codename was 007. Noone stood a chance.

The problem with Feddie's entry is how unfinished it is, it's too unfinished to really understand what direction that it was going, while Kalinka's entry was actually complete if a bit fast to catch up on. Between the 2, I'd say Kalinka did better. Though Feddie's entry had a lot of character put into it, you can tell hiow much heart went into it's details in the color of the bubbles and personalities of the characters

As leaked among my clumsy gnomes (fireball'd) the second Stage will take place in a lonely island, full of curiosities and depravity called Japan and the theme will be Ikigai, which in case you don't know is a Japanese concept meaning "a reason for being" or the thing that gives you purpose and joy in life.

But that's not all. I know it, you know it. Second rounds be damned and I always spice up those with a twist. On my command, each of your team members HAS TO consume at least one Potion (although they can consume more if they choose)

AgeShift Elixir (Green): Your crab can age or rejuvenate as much as they want for this round (minimum 10 years).

GenderBend Brew (Red): Change to the opposite gender for this round.

Kemono Moe Tonic (Blue): Your crab transforms into a kemono of their choice during this round. If it is already a kemono, they transform into a human.

Otaku Piss Jar (Yellow): During this round, your crab possesses a power or item of their favorite Japanese character. Sugoi! The potions can be publicly revealed. Also you can't choose other crab's potions, just yours (edited)
