this probably hardly matters but there's a loophole where you can see the rating of art submissions when they're meant to be hidden (before the first 5 votes have been cast) using the search feature.

Making note of where these are appearing. We hide those mostly so people don't get upset by a low initial score but the way they are presented should still be more universal / consistent.

Don't know if it's a bug or not, but today most of audio in my favorite artists audio feed don't have info on genre, score, views etc at the right side. This sometimes happened in featured audio list, but never in favorite artists feed. Not that it breaks anything, just weird...

I think this is the result of an update to now show the scores if there are less than five votes - as a result, it's hiding that entire info cluster.

It seems to be the explanation, the ones where it is shown have more that 5 votes. Also it seems it affects not only audio, but also art in "latest from your faves" on the front page

Had this give a "this submission has no video" error the first time I tried to watch it, before working properly when I refreshed the page. Not sure what happened.

I think I found a bug with editing reviews. I saw a game under judgement so I reviewed it in both English (for transparency with others) and Spanish (the language the game description was in). When I published it, it looked like a textwall. I went to add another line break to separate the two paragraphs and, when I tried to save, I got an error message accusing me of spamming.

Hello. It would appear that the forum box on the community tab is frozen in time when I'm logged in.

This doesn't happen when I'm logged out. I already tried erasing the cache & cookies, disabling all extensions and restarting firefox, even created a new profile just in case it's something to do with my user.js modifications but when I'm logged in it still looks the same. Don't know if anyone else notices this.

In case it's needed: I'm on Firefox 132.0.2, Windows 10.

Found an odd case - the medals for MIlk Clicker! show up as locked on the game's page, despite being clearly unlocked on mine:

It might be an issue with browser cache.

But if it's not: I happen to know that this game's medal situation changed after it had already been published - but while it was still Under Judgement. This might or might not be related.

The “Portal Awards” box should probably also shorten titles that are too long like the other lists on the page.

I don't know if this is deliberate, but the old school "Games with Medals" page (https://www.newgrounds.com/gameswithmedals) is now a redirect. I (as well as lots of other medal hunters) really liked using it, is there any possibility to still have it alongside the new version?

What was the most useful aspect of the old page? Was it pagination?

Pagination was definitely useful. Also the compactness of the page allowing you to see ratings, descriptions, titles etc. all at once clearly.

Also the new version isn't 100% accurate in which games have medals. For example, if you filter by "A" rating (most of these games shouldn't have medals anyway, but I'm just using this as an example), you'll see there's games listed on the new medal page which don't have medals, and even games where the user has closed their account. The old list did not have this problem.

I used to link to that list as a reference when people were asking/talking about the "old Newgrounds"/"Oldgrounds"/etc., because it still used the old layout.

But even being a former medal hunter, I had no other use for that link. (In addition to that, somebody used to make a lot of spam reviews with that link, which made it a bit annoying to look at for me.)

I suppose people can still use the Wayback Machine to see most of the old interface and site design, so I don't feel like we lost much there. And if any ancient exploits for the were ever to be unearthed, that route would (hopefully) be closed off. What we lost was mostly an obscure novelty.

I'd say that one is a bug in its own right and I happen to have some reference data on hand:

Especially in the second playlist, you can see that some of the games still have the "Medals-Box" on the page's interface while others show no sign of it - but I assure you that they advertised medals when they were first submitted.

It probably has to do with medals being removed through means of moderation as opposed to developers admitting that they had no intention to include medals to begin with. But I'll leave this to others to figure out.

This bug has been there for a while in the length info, but it is only affecting entire songs now. Some older songs longer than three minutes are shortened to three minutes. You can listen to the full song, though.

This song from 2003 doesn't have that problem, though.
