I've replayed the game here's a little note that I've take :

  • can we have azerty adaptation ? (not a priority but could be nice)
  • i've succesfully softlock myself in room 8 (it could be nice to have a restart the room button)
  • is normal that there is no sound ? (using edge)
  • the wall are always made of cubes. It could be nice way to improve performance to replace them.
  • It could be nice to have a visual indicator when we can't reset timelines (+in those room, it is very easy to get softlock)

other than that, I still can't solve 6 and 10 (best i can do is 2 timelines in 10). For room 6, I feel like you're tying to teach a mechanic with the reset capacity but i can't figure it out.

I just realise but the newground version is not the last version?

I plan adding a keybinding settings to the release.

There is already some saving/loading, but not optimized. That's also a plan.

I suppose you got stuck in the room where the prism was at the beginning? I managed to get myself stuck there once or twice.

Yes, there are no sounds.

the wall are always made of cubes. It could be nice way to improve performance to replace them.

I don't see a reason why. They're optimized using multimeshes. Although, some visual details might be good.

That's not a bad idea, I'll think about that.

Level 6 can be done without using reset, I can think of at least two solutions.

I honestly don't remember level 10, so I can't give you a proper hint. I'll take a look at it later.

No, it's not. The game you were replaying is an alpha, which I meant as a rough preview to the actual game. That one will be still released only on Newgrounds, though.

Thanks for feedback, it really means a lot to me. Have a nice day!

It might be a problem of the alpha or the navigator, but all cubes are not on top of each other so you can see between the with the right angle.

Good point, I know about this bug for a long time, but I really haven't thought about the solution yet.

Hello again!

It's Friday the 13th and Time Travel surprised me with this:

Now really, I just let it render a lot of cubes (not intentionally)...

Have a nice day,

@Dynamic0

I am working on a game, it's called Time Travel. It is a FPS-like logic game.

You can walk,

hold cubes

walk and drop cubes on things

which can open doors.

Also you can time travel. Every time you travel to past, your clone(s) will be created.

That's everything I have right now.

Future plans:
• Enter and exit
• Triangles and their receivers
• Timeline detectors
• More levels
• Maybe some dialogues
• Better player model

If you would like to know about my progress, fav this thread. I will try to post advances every Friday.

what are you using to develop the game?

Thanks for replying dude, I noticed you mentioned it in a later post that I missed (lol). Just played the game and I like the premise a ton. I think outside of the bugs that come with being in development the game could use some art and sound. When you have the dialogue explaining the game mechanics you could have some one actually narrating it. Love the progress dude!

You're welcome!

The alpha is completely soundless, I'll do the SFXs later

It would be tiring to get someone to do the voices in alpha, because the subtitles can change often. Art and voices and music and other things will be done after I finish the level stuff.

Love the progress dude!

Thanks friend!
