Also dawg, @ovimanic and @tango y'all gotta suggest less things per day. I'm no ruling party here, but there are 24 slots on the frontpage and I KNOW there's a flood of good art but we gotta be picky because 1 hour in the spotlight for everyone is useless compared to a full day for just 24 people. I can't speak for the mods or for Tom, but I see your big list of feature suggestions and my eyes glaze over and ignore them all instinctively and that means we're all probably missing out on the one or two bangers in your lists of 10+ submissions :/
If my suggestions genuinely bothers Tom or the mods, then I’ll stop; but they have to tell me. This is a habit I’ve been doing every day for “give or take” half a year and I have yet to hear complaints from any of the higher ups. My goal is always to suggest 13+ art pieces a day, but I fully understand not all of them are going to be put up, nor do I expect them to. That’s why I put what I believe to be the best quality pieces higher up on the list, albeit with some bias here and there.
Even if none of the higher-ups have explicitly asked you to slow down, that doesn’t mean it’s not a problem. When one person brings it up, there’s a good chance others feel similarly but haven't said anything. The thread's been noticeably more crowded, and when so much gets posted at once every day, it’s harder for any individual piece to stand out. I think scaling back is more than reasonable, and being more selective could also help the art you're highlighting get the attention it deserves.
