also to be really honest here vanishment isnt a real game and will never be one, i just thought more people might listen to it if i framed it that way

this was around the time that i was watching/listening to music theory analysis and all that, when adam neely made a video on phasing so i decided to try to make a track using that technique

I've only recently begun making/remixing music but I think with this most recent remix, I've finally achieved the type of thing I was going for. I have a lot of old SNES OSTs that are very nostalgic to me (some from obscure games like Lucky Luke as you can see) and I spontaneously decided to see if I could recreate them "my way".

Yeah choosing a best or a favorite isn't easy for me as well, but there's one I keep coming back to over and over again. I think it has to do with the melody and what I was feeling at that time. My father passed away a few years prior, and in some sense a lot of my music changed after. It became much more sorrowful, so when I wrote this piece my mind projected my fathers life. It then became much more, about the journey from birth to death, the joy and sorrows along the way.
So here is what I believe is my best song.
One of my best ones to date!
I do have one more that I think is a better song, but I'm absolutely in love with the mix on this one.
