Man, I wish I had the speed and tenacity to make such amazing quantity.
As for me, uhh. I found out DNF duel's reception is pretty mixed...
But anyway. I should not give up on this, My next goal is to be able to make accurate details. Maybe I should consider treating parts as separate entities. My mindset has always been "The whole painting" while painting. Ends up pretty detailed everywhere, but not that detailed and frustrating to work on. But if I just treat parts of it as separate pieces, disregarding the whole picture for a while since detailing the part means a significant amount of attention will go there, like the glove. Kinda like a detail hierarchy. To look at details is to not look at the whole picture, so I shouldn't mind the whole picture and mind what I am detailing at.

Oh, I really like the way you rendered the hair! The whole piece already looks fantastic. Painting has always been a bit of a mysterious territory for me, so it is very interesting to read about other artists' workflows.
As for me, recently I have been trying to force my way out of a dry spell by redrawing an old doodle of my demon OC (referenced on the right).
I haven't decided yet if I want to bother with cleaner lines, or simply throw some color on the sketch like I did with the old version and be done with it... Art slumps are the worst, lol. Best wishes to any of you who may be going through the same struggles, and most importantly, please do not forget to take care of yourself.
Love yourself and stay true in the face of all hardships and hard dicks

Let me share something. I don't use this method that much anymore since my workflow is not efficient with it anymore. If you already do it, that's good, I hope this actually helps other people.
The last time I did something with lineart, I unlearned making a lineart layer and going through the whole sketch again. What I did instead was clean up the sketch layer with an eraser. By doing that, it gave me an opportunity to "Feel" the form and spend less time feeling bad that my graphics tablet is just 2048 pressure levels. But then I started experimenting with layer masks, so I ended up sketching on the layer mask, that way I only need to toggle between the two colors like here:
Basically, a layer is filled in with a solid colour then a mask is added to hide the filled colour. You sketch on the mask. Approaching it with "Black=Transparent; White=Opaque" in mind.
This also gives you the ability to change the colour of the lines on the go by painting on the layer with the colour, without using the sloppier method of locking the alpha and painting over it again.
This gave me a pretty efficient method to sketch and turn it into lineart by cleaning it up afterwards. And by being able to change its colour, I was able to make it look like the lighting affects it too.
Btw, I finished it. Pose is kinda boring, but my next piece is supposed to be more dynamic and interesting in composition, fingers crossed.
did a crude sketch of this racist cat last night

Pinnacle of racial supremacy ideology. A Soapbox for people who are oppressed by the norms indeed.
Moog was the most drawn of my ocs during artfight so I gave her one extra piece-
I draw bunnies and monsters

I drew this piece last night. My first actual drawing, feeling pretty good about it. Meant to serve as a faux comic cover

as far as i've done, I've only made a Tools of the Trade Guide that i posted not only to my dA, but to NG as a news post. I plan to do more, but overall I've just been working on a guide with some goofy lil' doodles.
Where do I even begin to explain this elaborate inside joke
Got character design on the mind, all day every day. It's a constant hustle.
The two particular apples of my eye are the wolf girl (Karla) and her cohort, Berthold, the fellow next to her in similar attire.
I can't imagine them doing anything major, BUT I do think they'd make a good duo so far.
I notice a lot of people on new grounds mention style " their style " or losing " their style" or even having " multiple styles" which got me thinking how many styles do I have at my command ? When it comes to painting I am am kind of limited in what I can do. but drawing it where I really shine. so this is Guts from Berzerk drawn in realistic, anime, cute anime and manga style. I am linking it because I can't post them all in a single link. Though here is one of them for your viewing pleasure incase you don't want to click the link
After more than a month of drawing nothing, some stuff I made to get back into the swing of things...
https://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/theothersider/chibi-black-swordsmanwell shit I guess I had one more in me :)
Don't be weirdos about this piece. I can only handle one website being horrid creeps at a time (deviantart called dibs). Thank you.
I did a bunch of color references and pallets for different skin tones I can color pick right off of.....I thought hey maybe other people would find this useful. You can save this and color pick right from it your selves. if you do make anything from it all I ask is that you @ me so I can see it :) I made these in clip studio paint using the fill tool in a circle for the flats a air brush tone scraping tool for the texture a hard round for the shading and a low opacity brush for the bounce lights. and a color dodge layer with the smooth air brush for the highlights and a blur tool for my blending
Some Scaling in Perspective stuff for an environmental art course.
