maybe we'll never find out. many games that used to lag horribly and begun to work smoothly recently seemed to have fewer reasons to lag than a few games that would run smoothly. could be the cosmetic floating particles, could be something else.
by the way, elements of arkandia is FINALLY working! whoever added the text rendering update fixed the text color! and unlike the other arkandia games, you can load your saves.
