just out of curiosity, is there anything wrong with the Newgrounds player for games and media or are we looking to convert all games and media over to ruffle

Ideally we will no longer have to offer the NG Player, so the goal is 100% Ruffle if possible.

can a script be created for that?

A script to switch everything over to Ruffle? At some point if it feels like Ruffle runs the majority of Flash content well, we'll do something on our end to switch it on in bulk, then turn it off for cases where it's found not to work well.
I can confirm two things 1. All the bugs in Karoshi: Suicide Salaryman are fixed 2. There's a new bug in Super Karoshi: The head hurting level doesn't work
Game freezes after preloader.
Played for a few minutes, found no issues.

Played a full game (beating it in 9 days), experienced frequent and severe slowdown throughout.
None of the Robot Wants Series works on Ruffle
So much so that I actually had to play them on a XP Virtual Machine with Flash installed (Doesn't help that somehow actually runs some Flash games better than Ruffle does)

maybe some other people can help expand this list with me
I looking to create a de-code method for people in the future OR for you, the random person xx years from now that is trying to figure out what program a flash animation was created in so that you can de-code the program/animation and make it work again
this may require legacy programs such as:
ruffle, flash player swf to html, adobe flash player, adobe flash cs4 or cs3, adobe flash player 11, adobe flash player 32,, newgrounds player, VLC player
when you download a flash animation and then convert it to a .txt file then you have access to its encoding regardless of:
what program that it was created in
what the file extension was supposed to be or
how the creator did not create/import/export/name the file correctly
when you download the animation file, and convert it to a .txt file this is my current de-code list
(the first few lines if not the first few letters will likely show off one of these sets of letters)
CWS was created in an adobe flash studio program (apple)
FWS was created in adobe flash studio 3 or 4 (pc)
ÐÏࡱá was created in Adobe Flash / Macromedia Flash (pc)
(need to confirm) when it lists the name of the movie first thing then it was created in swift or swish (apple)
on that note, I am using a PC, so as far as I can see I cannot revive this Flash animation as it was created on an Apple animation program that was discontinued in 2016
i can tell that there is stuff/data there, its just broken currently because the author likely saved the file in their file explorer and then manually changed the extension
Fear Less! experiences text issues, making text harder to read:
NG Player, for comparison:

Played about a fifth of the way through.
Experienced what felt like an unusually long preloader, and experienced constant slowdown during gameplay.
Given the heavy use of physics objects, this seems like a good performance benchmark for Ruffle.
Played for a few minutes in singleplayer, experienced no issues.

Switching the other two over, will have to keep tabs on Boombot!

Played through the first level.
Experienced frequent slowdown, and noticed an issue with the textbox showing what your last eaten object was:
Played a single game (up to level 6), experienced no issues.

Ended up going through a bunch of Miniclip's earliest submissions, most of which had no issues:

Text is a different font between Ruffle and NG Player - doesn't seem like a major issue to me.
Sidenote: I wish there was an easier way to switch between using NG Player and Ruffle than editing the submission URL.

EDIT:
Game is utterly broken in Ruffle - not only is it a slideshow, but walls don't work properly.
A wall does occasionally pop into view, but it spontaneously despawns shortly afterward.
Definitely keep an eye on this one.
Ended up finding out ArcadeTown had an account and ran through all three games on it.
Eliminating blox doesn't cause a score popup, and eliminating three blox plays the wrong SFX.
Played up to Mission 3, found no issues.

In this case, all of these appear to have already had Ruffle enabled. On your account page, do you have it set to use Ruffle when possible?

I didn't - probably disabled it some time ago and forgot about it.
Thanks for pointing it out!

NG Player has virtually no slowdown by comparison.

Typed in letters do not appear on screen, and a word's properties cannot be altered. This makes level 4 unfinishable.

I'll turn off Ruffle for this one.
