This message implies you should go full screen the flash and screenshot with modern resolution, though I have also submitted “New thumbnail from zero”, ie, drawing/editing a custom thumbnail based on elements from the original. This however takes more time, so most are simply screenshots.

It's ok to use use screen grabs if you can grab a reasonably sized image. For example I grabbed this screenshot from Don't Look Back:
There are some cases where redrawing could help preserve a unique thumbnail that's not a screenshot in the movie, however screenshots are usually fine, even if they can't be 1920x1080.

Thanks a lot for the tip, next time I'll use screenshots for thumbnails (with modern quality of course), and sometimes redraw, so as not to confuse I'll add the caption to the title in the dump file if something is redrawn or a screenshot for example: (redrawn) - (Screenshot).

1. Get all items a thumbnail
2. Re-vamp all thumbnails to larger sizes
3. Update the quality of all thumbnails
4. All of the above
5. All of the above but #1 is the priority most of the time

Higher Priority - Submission has no set icon (yellow tank default)
Lower Priority - Submission has an icon but:
- Proposed icon would be a substantial improvement over the existing icon
- If possible, icon can reflect the artists original icon/title screen
- If not possible to reflect the existing icon, icon represents the work without spoilers or awkward framing
