hey guys I'm magical-zorse I've been on NG since '08 and when I was in high school I would spend all my free time drinking and programming games. Then in 2014 life and rapidly spiraling mental illness caused me to leave but I still check in from time to time. hit me up whenever if you like

I'm not an old user but the first time i came to NG was when Powertrip was released back in 2013.

I'm still creepin in these parts.

I use to go on Newgrounds with my friends back in juniorhigh to play flash games and check out the porn lmao. Finally made an account a few years ago during college and lurked the site for awhile. Now i wanna get into the community and be social on it and upload my audio projects. Make it a basis for my portfolio because this site seems to have a great community for art!

I missed my one year anniversary by a bit, but I've been going strong since joining and I don't see myself flaking out anytime soon. That said, I sure would like to keep meeting new folks and reach new followers, so here I am! I'm an artist living in Taiwan, active in the art forums and down to chat in DMs or wherever else.

Havent been here in a while... Forgot my old account so I started a new one and will be uploading my music and artwork and am currently learning to animate and am working on a series to upload, looking forward to sharing my art with you all

I would have responded to this earlier if I actually visited the forums as often as I used to. Speaking of that I feel like I've lost thousands of forum posts over the years. Probably all shit posts made by a former teenager.

It's pretty incredible thinking how much my life has changed since I spent any serious time here - gone from an idiot high-school almost drop-out to masters educated with a great career. Still wouldn't change the time I wasted on NG though, a huge part of my teenage years.

I'm still around... don't really browse the forums like I used to, finding time is hard.

I followed that same life changing path as well. I wasn't good at school and spent A LOT of my free time on the computer. I wanted to emulate the community Newgrounds had so much so that at the ripe age of 13 years old I learned how to build my own website. HOW DID WE LEARN ANYTHING BEFORE STACK OVERFLOW AND YOUTUBE EXISTED?? I hosted a bunch of flash animations that my friends and I made. I never thought about making money doing it. I was just having fun. After I worked a few dead-end jobs out of high school I realized people would actually pay me for something I was doing for fun entirely in my free time and got my degree. Honestly, I would have never gone into a career in web development if Newgrounds wasn't such a big part of my life back then.

I don't know if I would be considered an old user, but I've visited NewGrounds 10 years ago as a kid to play their video games after I got home from school. I used to go here almost every day. Alas, I didn't make an account at that time because I didn't know how to make an account and saw no need to make replies or comments. Then, I became absent over the years and busy with life. My interest in free games disappeared as I wanted to do other things.

Despite the fact that I'm all grown up and no longer that young kid, I mostly know NewGrounds for their video games. I did not know that people could post sounds and art. Knowing that they expanded what they posted, I created an account. I wanted to see what is more to discover and find out more things.

I've heard of Newgrounds back in circa 2014/2015, back when I first heard of Pico from a remake of the 1999 game, called "Pico's School DX". The main series that came from Newgrounds that I was so into and used to watch, draw and follow most of the time on YT was Madness Combat. I never had a reason or even any interest of making a Newgrounds account back then because I was playing flash games from other sites, even though most of these games that were added on these sites had the NG "PLAY" intros n' stuff. Then in Madness Day of 2020 I finally decided to make an account to watch the latest animation from LLL, called "Dusk of The Madness: Overtime". It was an episode that many other people requested for YEARS, it was almost the same hype as Madness 11's release, I commented on both of these 2 videos the time they were uploaded and still some of the oldest comments and I'm proud I was there for that.

Right now in 2021, I'm focusing more on the community, specifically the forums. I try to make threads with a topic that seem interesting to the reader, the only reason I started doing this is because when I got on vacation my phone broke, and now I had to use a bigger device to work with some stuff. I know I'm not really gaining anything from this, I'm just trying to find a direction on the site that'll open some doors for me. And that's pretty much how I got onto Newgrounds.
