Hey guys, the name's Shinjojin! I used to come to this site very often many years ago as an avid flash watcher but I stopped visiting around in the late 2000s. Now I decided to return but this time as a member of this site rather than just a lurker since I'm still a fan of flash animations. I do have a couple of ideas from my personal passion projects that I like to share here that could potentially inspire flash animators in the future. I do draw as well but almost all of what I draw are mostly rough concept sketches, but I hope I'll make great use of them for flash projects one day. I also like to mention that I'm fan of anime, video games (especially fighting and beat'em ups), and martial arts (even tho I'm not a martial artist myself).

Anyway, I hope to have a nice time here.

i have been on newground since 2007(?)ish but i only made an account in 2013 bc i had yet to understand english and i only joined the community now since now i know how to speak english correctly even if i'm still a little rough on the edges. i'm happy to say that in all those years newground never lost its spirit its this the amazing place my child self enjoyed to explore even though i didn't understand anything that was on it since i barely knew how to read lol

i can't believe Tom reacted to a random message on a 4 year old thread he made this is amazing. i love this place so much

Decided to make an account here, in the hopes of promoting my web comic. Also out of mild curiosity. Last time i touched this place, it was the early 2000's. i'm shocked it's still not only around but active at that.

Any suggestion about where i might shamelessly promote my wares* ?

Also is it just my imagination or did this place use to play "breakfast club" by z trip in the background?

As far as where to promote your comic, you could try posting panels in the Art Portal or on your userpage blog! You can also post about your work in the Art Forum.

No it wasn't that, it was definitely breakfast club. I can still remember the "pour the milk in the bowl, make sure it's ice cold" line. As soon as i would come to the site, it would start playing. It was at a public library though, and i was like 10. So yeah, who knows...
