I'm good, been working as the forewoman gardener for a new company this year. Pays great, lots of freedom. They basically give me a truck and a list of houses and say "go." I'm super happy with this company.
I had an assistant for a minute. I got him fired which was a weird feeling. He worked Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays part time, kept saying that he wanted to find a full time job somewhere else and that he wasn't enjoying gardening. I don't entirely blame him, it's a tough job. He kept asking if we could go home early because he was tired but any work we put off I'd have to do the next morning by myself. Kid was killing me. There's no way I can use an assistant that can't keep up with me three odd days a week.
Thanks for doing the community service in here Rags. I don't venture outside of the audio forum often, I'm lurking less and less. It always makes me happy to see NGrs still friendly and proactive in the community. Draw any good dicks lately?

That sounds interesting. How did you get him fired? He really didn't sound too interested in the job. Not much to tell from my part. What service am I doing? :o I keep lurking the forums less these days, especially after the chat came back. And I haven't been drawing that many dicks lately either

I was the kids boss more or less, started a few weeks after him but I have about ten years experience in gardening and my associate had zero. They trained him to do a bunch of things improperly, hydrangeas in particular require proper maintenance. Now a lot of customers don't have flowers and it's July, yuck.
I'm not sure if I mentioned it but I didn't enjoy the experience. I was bonding a bit with him, the kid had a tough home life. Sister had a drug problem. It wasn't an easy call but this is what sealed the deal. Fourth of July weekend, our bosses were stuck in traffic. Work was supposed to start at 8:30 but it's now 10:00. I've been weeding and dead heading around the main building and I tried getting my assistant to help. He just sat in his car for an hour and a half. Finally I gave him two options. Help me work around the building or go home. He went home. It was fourth of July weekend, I didn't get off work until 6:30 that day. He really let me down.

Eating whatever I want. This job devours calories, I lost 25 pounds in two weeks. I'm a little sad that I'm spending more money on food but I'm happy because I'm eating so much good food. It's a delicious paradox. Need to pick up cat food for Wolfgang and Paloma, fur warriors. My children. I've been getting a lot of dead mice since installing a bird feeder. Since the birds drop so much seed the mice proliferate and get fat. It's kind of funny actually, Wolfgang targets the fat ones.
How's your life? Twenty three can be a tough year for some people...
