Yeah, that's true. Although, I can recall a few times where priveleges were removed and most of us didn't do anything in other sites.

I don't give a shit if you use copyrighted music on your own tech. It doesn't take a lot of "Brain Power" (ba dum tiss) to figure out how, sure, and we can't stop you, but more importantly, it doesn't leave us liable for your idle ventures of ill repute and legal stupidity, or cancer. Just don't use lime wire for your MP3's or you'll probably get arrested and fined if you leech off of the wrong peers. On business, @BlueAlpha14 and Tebiri, stolen songs removed and users banned. One guy had like 14 submissions so that took me a little minute.

You're one of the reasons the Geometry Dash community is generalized so much. Too bad most users who don't steal content don't speak up here. The bad part of a community is usually the loudest.

Hahaha, I beg to differ. Sure, most dubstep is a bunch of distorted noises all thrown together. But there's many melodic parts to it. Just because it's got heavy mixing and unusual sounds doesn't mean it excludes itself from being music.

And because I don't know how to respond to multiple posts at once and so I'm not making multiple posts at once @cank I could not find the source of that submission. I've tried googling snippets of the lyrics and I couldn't find any songs that matched.

Well, now that GD and NG got their stuff fixed with the stolen music, I guess I will be disappearing from here. I might pop in if I find stolen songs, but the possibility of that happening is tremendously lowered now.

Well, considering the amount of people that are still going to try to hack the game, it's not going to be abysmally low, but you know. At the very least a lot of good fixes are coming to the AP as a result of all the abuse.

As long as the samples aren't copyrighted, you should be fine. We're not worried about "oh, that kick sample is from X". We're more so concerned with "Christ, did he really rip a Bieber acapella and paste it on a Skrillex track with Mozart reversed over top?" Big chunks of songs are a no-no. Copyright is a no-no (not even a millesecond, if you read the rules). Sampling stuff in an original arrangement should be totally fine unless you're breaking other rules, like midi ripping the same synthesia shit we've all seen 500 times on YT.

That's why I didn't think the track should be removed. I think just about every dubstep noob has used that sample pack. I only use the bass samples when ABSOLUTELY necessary, but most of the drums I've been using since This is the End was from that pack.

Copyright is a no-no (not even a millesecond, if you read the rules).

I assume this applies to remixing as well, but I still follow the 10% rule.
