Well, bear in mind the mods put trust in us. But EDM364 said she heard the song before, so I can't really doubt a moderator.

^Someone needs to investigate this account. I don't know if it's the real Monstercat. However, serious question. What were to happen if a record label like Monstercat did come to Newgrounds? Would we allow them to post their releases here or would we remind them they can't unless it's theirs?

I've been wrong a couple times. I know an extensive amount of songs, but not all of them. By your logic, I didn't know if you thought it was a Teminite song. If I've never heard the song before and there's no obvious proof it's stolen, I usually leave it alone.

Not stolen. Waterflame I don't think is represented by a major record label.

Not a good remix.... stolen and effected
It is not stolen. That person did that remix to the best of their ability. That and Rukkus isn't represented by a record label company. Thus, this remix doesn't break the rules.
Not a good remix isn't a legit reason either. That's just your opinion.
http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/719891
I already asked a moderator to republish that a while ago and they did. It's already been determined that this doesn't break the rules.
http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/720783
Demonicity is a pretty good artist, I highly doubt this one deserves to be removed. Can any moderator explain if this breaks the rules? If it's because it's a TV show, I have a LOT of remixes to report.
And also, /audio/listen/715558 doesn't exist anymore. No reason to continuously report it.
Sorry, just had to dispute my reasons.

Ok I can see the second one possibly being banned (despite it's a really popular track), but the first one has already been cleared with @NekoMika.

Especially since Waterflame is independent.

No, do not. You are not a moderator, and that's not your place. Report it to a moderator and let them handle it, please. Those checks are best left to moderators, not general users.

Well, I was going to download one of his songs in GD, and it said "This song is not allowed for use". Were his songs removed?

Yes. In Geometry Dash if it's disabled, it was removed.

I have to ask:
If an unscouted artist uploads songs, can they still be downloaded in Geometry Dash?
No, not usually anyway. Yet, some stolen songs are used in Geometry Dash, but I think it's because those might be executed by a hack. I've never seen an original composition from the unscouted portal in the game.
I'm curious because I can download unscouted stuff in Chrome on my phone.
Shhhh, we don't want that to be patched. :P

Any GD player feel like doing this? The game's on my old tablet and this back-up is honestly a piece of crap and would take to long to download.
Don't tell Tom about the download glitch though that may be useful ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

Sorry I've been kinda dead on this forum. I've been wanting to get back into posting a massive amount of audio again. But I've been busy and I'm now sick.
EDIT: Although I'll still check here to see if anything legitimate got posted.

Don't burn yourself out. It's more than fine to drop a one off and go. This isn't a 9-5 job. :) I hope you feel better soon. You really have been a big help. Honestly, I didn't even know myself that the theft was as widespread as it was until we were both coming up with massive lists -- only, I would run through, listen, remove, and ban, and you'd be flagging and posting.
EDIT: Although I'll still check here to see if anything legitimate got posted.
Thank you, really, for what you do. Our eyes are not infallible, nor are our ears, so a second or third set always helps.

I mean, you've been doing a great job finding stuff that most of us would not recognize, being as you're somewhat more of an audiophile than I am.
In other news, I'm making a masterpost for resources regarding the AP, scouting, what to look for in terms of flagging stolen audio, etc. If you have written or have seen some good resources, PM me a link and I'll get to looking over it. If it's informative and accurate, it'll be added to the master post.

I'll probably look through there a little bit if I have nothing else I could be doing, I'm sure I won't accidentally report something to here because if you ban it, it will probably be gone before I post it here.

Have you added JK-FlipFlop's (or cank, currently) method of scouting? I've used it a couple times, and it's worked to where I can trust scouting someone.
I do have a couple methods for what to look for as far as stolen audio, though. I'll pm them to you, so I'm not taking up space on this thread.
