There's no way this guy can be legit. It has still not been dealt with. All of his music is comprised mostly of stock loops (like Vengeance)

NCS clearly states that you can use their music for anything under three circumstances. You can find these in the description of their youtube videos. And Colors was released by NCS. Even though it was written by Tobu.

It's not anywhere near that restrictive, there's a wealth of software you can use, all you need to keep in mind is that it shouldn't be pre-made loops you dragged together, and that the software's terms of use let you do anything you please with the creations made in it.

That said, FL Studio definitely is one of the most, if not most, popular pieces of software to produce music in.
