The real thing that probably allowed it is the lack of credit to Virtual Riot. A lot of us will search for stolen stuff via various popular artists for GD song theft. The fact that this submission fails to mention any artist probably allowed it to slip by our notice.

I was lucky to catch it when I did. 3 years and it’s still up with nobody doing anything about it.

One of our former audio moderators was catching them and posting them here. This was back in 2016. We need that guy back.

I was trying to say that I was surprised that it was up for almost 3 years.

We need a list of commonly stolen songs that we can occasionally search. I know a few offhand, and I'm thinking of starting a news post that I can edit repeatedly for such a list so it can be referenced by both moderators and those looking for stolen content to either up their Whistle status or just help out.

Honestly, a moderator would have to check the song and the link given just to be sure that it's not a mistake by the user who posted. In most cases, that is.
In the case of a song that's been uploaded a thousand times, they can hear the first few seconds of the submission and be like, "yup, it's stolen."
Hence why they would "sleep" with most songs.
