Audio Portal Cleanup

That falls along the backseat modding forum rule (point three here) which applies to any section of modding. Yes, most of the accounts will end up with a ban, but its up to the mods to determine that and/or severity. It does happen that people are wrongly accused. Bring it up, but please keep it civil and on track.

As for auto banning: nah. There are hundreds of accounts made per day, of which the vast majority will either not interact with the community, or will stay in the rules. Many accounts are made or logged into from shared spaces (libraries, free wifi) which means they might share (briefly) an IP with someone else.

If I break the rules and get a ban, my room mate shouldn't get auto-banned for living in the same house. We'll continue to moderate using the human touch.

It sounds familiar, but I can't quite name it. Matter of fact, it says that it's a remix of a third party piece. Maybe this user is midi ripping this time around?
Edit: sounds like something from Kirby Superstar, or another Kirby game. Shit... It might be sped up, too.

That's allowed. If you create something completely yourself, and don't use any "borrowed" stuff in the process, that's fine. They're called 'covers' and they're allowed because it's you doing it yourself. No one's going to claim copyright if you're singing something as you walk down the street, right? Noise pollution, maybe, but not copyright. There are plenty of classes on how to paint like Bob Ross, but no one claims copyright on your paintings, cuz you created them. Create all the covers you want. Uploading the original song, or a modified version, that's not allowed.
