Why are you replying to a 3-year-old post? How did you even find that? And, most importantly, the guy wasn't being alarmist. That's what we do here. Report things we think break the rules. I'm sure he got the advice he needed and the ssue was resolved. If not, it was the mods' fault, not this guy's. So back off and get over it.

Okay, so you authored the Soundcloud version is how I understand it. I think there's a misunderstanding here.

A song (submitted here) was reported in 2015 as using elements of the soundcloud linked track. The song (from here) was removed. The soundcloud link isn't my business, as Soundcloud is a separate entity.

Unless I'm grossly misunderstanding this, you authored the soundcloud version. So nobody is accusing you of theft, but rather, 3 years ago someone tried to rip off your song and the mods at the time intervened to protect your intellectual property.

Mike did post to SoundCloud, and many people did versions of it, but mine is the only one that he chose to have published, after I authored 80% of the production and musicianship on it, adding organs, synthesizers, drum machine, and tons of other things. Then. I copyrighted it, gave him 50%,wrote the original guitar instrumental in the morning for years ago. Again, there are no accusations against you. Someone else stole it FROM you, and was already dealt with.

They will remain in place as a record that the other party (not you) submitted stolen music to this website.

I think that, my dear Peregrinus, the man is saying he and his pal uploaded the music to Newgrounds. The original report was about using the Soundcloud track, which this gentleman is saying he did. I think. He added some stuff.

He didn't go under the radar. The account has been deleted here, and both Newgrounds and RobTop games is aware of the account and its infractions.

These things take time, remember that RobTop Games is a separate entity from Newgrounds.

It doesn't change the fact that Newgrounds is not RobTop Games and has no control over that entity. Re-read what I'm saying, and be patient for the fix.
