I don't like to resubmit the same pic for small changes, but I thought they were significant enough, plus I corrected some errors even though it's a sketch. I feel I'm starting to dig the green vest/white shirt attire...although I could go black shirt, but that might make him too.....bad? I like the more librarian / conservative look since that fits his character more.
I'm finally beginning another big finished piece I've had in my head for a couple months. Below is what I started and got done tonight. It's very rough and needs a lot of cleanup. I also haven't even begun the background yet which will consist of Ivan's airship Icarus. :D
Here's Ivan and Lily. Ivan does not like kids and had to be stuck with her while traveling.

Quick suggestion: Tilting the guy's left foot a bit to off-set the dead-on orthographic profile could help his profile.

I tried messing with his feet a bit more for hopefully better perspective and some asymmetry. *shrugs*. I added a bunch of stuff but this is all extremely rough. The colors as well.
His RIGHT our LEFT (oops...) This one lol puuuush~ While I doodled my thoughts I also noticed a substantial amount of mirroring and attempted to soften it. Again, these are me being nit-picky 'cause that's how I roll. The other character sits great, btw.

I did try making some adjustments on the right arm and right foot. It's subtle but possibly better now. I think I finished the piece! It'll probably be up later this evening.

This is a 10 minute sketch when I stopped caring about perfect anatomy. It's more of a young Lily....but who knows. I just let the lines and swooshes go nuts.
