I'm glad we finally got over the hump and now everyone's helping out. This is what I invisioned when I started the WC (that's what we're called now 'cause it sounds cool. DEAL WITH IT!) All of our artists are helping one another, Eskimo Joe helps when he can, as well as I. To quote Mr. T: "I love it when a plan comes together!" and "Dial 1800-Collect. Save a buck or two." and to paraphrase him: "I pity the foo' who don't join Writers Crew."
What is the current members/team/crew list and what are the current projects that everyone is working on sir, and if in the last post everything I said is correct then I will get to work on the BG soon.

Ok there seems to be some kind of confusion I must dispell. Snare and Asparagus must do a sample background and send it in. The best one will get to do the backgrounds on our flash. Snare, I suggest you get a yahoo e-mail address and put it in your profile so we can send things to you and receive things from you. Asparagus has e-mail so we don't need to worry about that with him. Once I've judged the entries I will give you the go ahead and you must send the other backgrounds to -Joe- who must do the other animation tasks. If he needs help with animation he will ask you.
Little Boys and Girls
One day a big boy named Jack was riding his bike. A draw bridge started to open. He thought he could jump over the gap. He was off by 10 feet. He falled and died. A little boy walked up and looked at Jack's lifeless body. "What a loser." said the little boy. The little boy wanted to walk away from the cliff where the bridge was but he wasnt paying attention.
Little Boy 1995-2004
A little fat girl was standing at the cliff now with a duffel bag in her left hand and white cream all over her mouth. She looked at Jack and the little boy. "Time to dump my duffel bag full of nuts." She ran a little to throw it far but she tripped on a rock and fell. Then the superhero Spider Man came to the rescue. Once he saw how fat the girl was, he said "Well fuck that." So he grabbed her nuts instead. When Spider Man got back on land, he started to suck on the girl's nuts. They were extremely salty and shriveled. The moral of this story is dont go near the draw bridge because you could die or end up with a bad sack of nuts with no taste.

whats the point of any story? nothing, they are just their to entertain people. alot of people found this funny so i thought id post it here. i can already tell that this is the worst writer type place on NG...people here dont even know what fan fiction is.

Maybe we should just re-name the crew the "Original Ideas Writer Crew". We here like to think of our own characters, plots etc. and not take off others, like writing fan fiction
Yay! 11 pages over 300 posts! We rock! As far the scuffle that went on on page 10, fan fiction is ok but as Eskimo Joe said, we'd prefer it if you posted original ideas. I love fan fiction, I've written some myself, but I don't think the NG users wanna see that.
Ok, with that matter being settled down... Yes to our background contestants this will have to be done as wide screen. If you send in a sample that is of regular shape, that's ok, but you'll probably get more approval with widescreen.
Well, kids, I'm glad we can reach these little milestones together. Let's continue to make the topic a great one. While others have come and gone we have endured through good times and bad. Writers Crew doesn't post porno to get thousands of posts (although I wish we did ^_^). We don't talk much about video games or cheat codes. We just strive to make quality Flash films to post onto Newgrounds to make the Portal a place of good submissions, not a place filled with stick figures and Peanut Butter Jelly time remakes. To all of our members, I applaude your commitment to us and I thank you.

Ok, um... I forgot to add credits sequence to the end. I left it out mainly because I didn't know all the people that would work on this. Anyway just make the background in the credits black, the credits done in Comic Sans, 18 point, white. As far as sound for that, play "Slither" by the band Velvet Revolver.

The writers crew, is this about people who have talent in writing storys? I would join but im more into the script writing for new flash movies, im not the best of writers.
