I know i don't post often in this thread, but i do check every update and I would like it if you posted me at the bottom as well ( i know i am really far off, but it would be a nice reference to see where i was from one update to the next etc). Just a request, if it is too much trouble then by all means don't let me cause you too much more work... and if me being there is against the point of the list (seeing as i am not even top 2000) then, again, don't bother. Well I have a few others I actually track up to 600, but there were not any really familur names in that area past the ones I posted. I am tracking a few people from 600-800, but mostly only the ones depositing all the time. I am not tracking no one in your range sorry to say.

Well I glad you liked it I have quite a few people I'm tracking past 500, just so I can keep tabs on who will be new to the list.
You didn't have to use all caps. If you look at my list most of the big movers as in number of spots they go up are in the 400+ range.

It doesnt take long just to deposit experience pionts. It takes about 3 minutes. just use the random portal entry jump.

The day before, you deposited before the server recalc time. Your competition didn't.
The next day, you deposited before the server recalc time again (or after, whichever). This time, your competition DID deposit before it as well.
Result?
instead of:
Elfer - 5000 exp
PersonA - 4990 exp (later became 5000 exp the same day)
PersonB - 4990 exp (later became 5000 exp the same day)
the next day it was:
PersonA - 5010 exp (deposited earlier/in time for the recalc)
PersonB - 5010 exp (deposited earlier/in time for the recalc)
Elfer - 5010 exp (ranked behind them due to signup date)
NG only worries about how we're ranked ONCE per day, early in the morning. It can't predict what will happen later in the day. Thus, rankings are ONLY accurate early in the morning. They don't cover all the shit that happens in the other 18 hours.
If you know who you're competing with for exp ranks, the only way to be sure you've passed someone is to check their profiles RIGHT BEFORE MIDNIGHT, NG TIME.

Come on, now. 123 is cool, too! 1,234 and 12,345 may be longer numbers and thus more impressive to get, but... any cool number sequences, however long, is teh nifty.

Well you may wonder what my crazy motivation was for doing this all day today. I must say this is the last time I'll most likly do a top 500 exp list this way. The time it took is way to much manually. Considering I started this bright an early this morning with a few breaks for the eyes. I'll annouce at a later time what I'm going to cut the list down too. I had my own little reason. I hope you all enjoy.
Notes about the List:
The list was updated 4/02/05. The categories I use in order are current rank, previous rank, Exp from the last update, current exp, change in exp., and user name.<BR>
In case of a tie I give the nod to the lower profile id, if a non profile person is tied they go last. I list in order current rank, previous rank, change in rank, last month exp, current exp, change in exp.
I only concentrate on the people moving up into the top 50, 100, 200, 300, 400 and 500. For the slackers I focus on those moving out of the top 500.
New to the top 50 is format.
No one new joined the top 100.
Moving up into the top 200 is ornery_scotsman, Mewt, wismty, SaMuRai_jACK, and Mojimbo.
Moving into the top 300 is NewsVeiws, RedPlumClock, DeadlydragonMan, and White_Rhyno
Moving into the top 400 are NiDeCo, Mistah_T, McBean, Enroll, crazynet, blobglob, and DaveS2357.
Finally New to the list are 2551Partyboy, Grandfather-Clock, -Jimbo-, Sonota, Baron_Von_Bad_Guy, n__n, MasterGehn, rancid_alan, Elfer, Privatpartz, Spud-man, DRD1982, and Hermannator.
Now for the people falling off the list -AL-, Dark_Serpent, Kirke, Hikitsuri, vaginusbeefus, Krinkels, The_Criminal, fixit, plagueknight, TheGrayFox, Anthony_john5, whats_a_alias, and RemiMathieu.
P.S. Sorry I am not doing any extended list. I used that effort in doing the full 500.
