Well I show the people who don't deposit or deposit not all the time, so there is a chance for the peopel who deposit all the time to move up the list. Even if it is slowly sometimes.

You won't be able to gain 0.29 baseVP in a single year since you'll have a much more drastic drop off from the 0.35 you gained in the past year... so... there ya go. It won't be until well into 2006 that you hit 14.00 total VP. Same goes for me and... I believe... 12.50 VP.

In the past year, for reference, here's my comparison:

10.09 VP / 1.55 = 6.51 baseVP
11.52 VP / 1.60 = 7.20 baseVP

net baseVP increase = 0.71

A bit more than 2x your 0.35, but only because my exp is lower. Bleh, I say!

Actually I know who dies the depositing for the account. it's not shrapnel right now, that is all I can say.

Since I made that post, over a month ago, I've noticed MULTIPLE occasions of HT and Shrapnel's accounts being deposited for within minutes of each other. Both late in the day... and early in it.

If Shrapnel isn't depositing for HT... then I suspect that the same person who is depositing for HT is actually depositing for Shrapnel as well. It happens way too often to be a coincidence (unless Shrapnel and the HT-depositor are talking on AIM all the time when they decide to both deposit, which seems kinda silly and implausible).

Which it likely won't. It'll either be 0 missed... or a hell of a lot more than 1. That's my prediction for HT in 2005. #;-}>

I have a 7+ year old computer... while it makes watching flash a slow and stuttering process at times (and while using 56K instead of broadband will obviously slow down movie-loading)... both of those factors only make it harder to b/p... they don't really make it harder to get exp every day.

All you need to be able to do to get your 10 exp per day is open 5 movie pages and vote on all 5 movies, you don't have to open the movies, watch them, etc. So it's not that big a deal to do with an old computer or a slow connection. I'm not sure why you're crediting your new computer/new highspeed connection with helping you rise from #800 to #453 in exp... why exactly would you be any higher than 453 in exp NOW if it hadn't been for that? O_o

Notes about the List:

The categories I use in order are current rank, previous rank, change in rank, Exp from the last update, current exp, change in exp., and user name.

In case of a tie I give the nod to the lower profile id, if a non profile person is tied they go last. I list in order current rank, previous rank, change in rank, last month exp, current exp, change in exp.

I only concentrate on the people moving up into the top 50, 100, 200, 300, 400 and 500. For the slackers I focus on those moving out of the top 500.

New to the top 50 is sabcat.

Joining the top 100 is Overtired.

Moving up into the top 200 is that_scary_guy.

Moving into the top 300 is Mightydein, gd07, mr_trivia, CannibalFetus, Ghaleonx5z, FireHound, LockClock, and gamejunkie.
