I don't think that is really nostalgic since it isn't really that old....
That would be like calling Team Fortress 2 nostalgic, it just doesn't seem right.
Nevertheless, I really wish I had the chance to play it, but I do not have any consoles that would support it.
If only it came out on the PC

If you like TF2 then you might want to try out the TF Classic. As old as original Half Life.

I already have. I really do miss those cheesy retro graphics.

Do you not know the meaning of the word "nostalgia"?
I just posted this in another thread and thought I'd share it here as well. Who else remembers this commercial?

So, was that a club or something or was that just what they called the kids meal...

How exactly is castle crashers nostalgic? The whole point of nostalgia is to remember things that during the good old days, almost like old men talking about how 1942 was so great, so to speak.
Anyways, I remember watching Voltron when I was a kid, and at the time, I thought it was the shit, well that was until I started watching GoLion, {the original Japanese version} and now I just couldn't stand to watch Voltron again. It was pretty similar to what Robotech went through, but it seem like it got more of a mixed reaction from fans than Voltron. In a way, I kind of miss those old 80's and early 90's dubs of anime for being so mediocre to horrible that it was laughable to watch today.
Just stop worrying, and love the bomb.

For me actually, Castle Crashers made me nostalgic of those side-scrolling beat-em-up games, especially Golden Axe. You can see a direct influence.

I loved Golden Axe, my dad had an arcade for it, we'd play it every day. Too bad he sold it.

I have the Genesis version (6-pak) and the Sega CD version (Arcade classics). Still one of my favorite games to date. It's a tough one, too. I hear in Jersey City there's a place called Barcade which has a Golden Axe cabinet, as well as a ton of other arcade games.
I loved Golden Axe when I was a kid. I have it now on the Sega Genesis Collection for PS2.

I was gonna make a joke about how we didn't get Final Fantasy 2 or 3 and that those would actually be Final Fantasy 5 and 6, but then I realized they stopped changing the titles when FF7 came out.
...Why the hell did they even do that?
I played Majora's Mask again recently. Loved it as a kid, but now I understand what's going on in people's lives more. I love it more every time I play it.
This particular commercial was even before my time but I'll post it anyway cause of mario nostalgia.

Who remembers when Starburst were called Opal Fruits?
I do not know anything about this.
Who remembers when we had Cheetos and not just wotsits?

Who remembers when we used to get free shit with crisps like pogs and shit?
So many things came with a free pog. I even got one with a pair of shoes.

That game gets frustrating. I still love it, though.
