That would be Rampage, but from which console I don't have a clue. The first time I remember playing a Rampage game was World Tour for the Playstation.

I never played the original Rampage, but I played the one on N64 for hours.

I remember the TV show more, especially Don't Go into the Basement, Night of the Living Dummy, and that one with the mask that latches onto your face and takes over your mind or something. I can't remember the name of that one.

I miss playing the TimeSplitters games. And Zone of the Enders. And just about every other game I had on PS2. Damn it all, I might just go out and buy a brand new PS2 and those games again just to play them. I'd say most of them were far more entertaining than what I have for Xbox 360.
While I'm at it, Gundam Wing was a kickass show to watch after school. I might start watching it online again just for the hell of it.

Response to the nostalgia room 2012-05-14 15:01:27

I still have my PS2 and my games.

And speaking of horror books, who here remembers Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark? All of the illustrations freaked me out when I was a kid.

I first read them in 1996, loved the spooky drawings and stories.

My sis got me into it back around that time. She would read some of the stories to me and have me look at the illustrations.

My childhood:

Pokemon. (when it was good)
Case closed. (a.k.a Detective Conan)
Inuyasha
Gundam
Dragonball Z
Samurai X
Yu-Gi-Oh (also played the card game with other kids)
Beyblade (played with my brother, had an accident with my eye)
Powerpuff Girls (don't judge me)
Zoids
Medabots
Monster Rancher
and last but not least, Digimon. (loved the fuck out of that anime)

Most of my childhood I spent watching shows on Toonami and Cartoon Network. I feel bad for the kids growing up with shitty cartoons nowadays..

I loved it when I was a kid.

Powerpuff Girls (don't judge me)

That show was amusing, especially the mayor.

Monster Rancher

I loved that as a kid.

Back then I didn't think that they were animes since I never knew what they really were till I was 12. I used to watch other cartoons such as Ed, Edd and Eddy, Courage the cowardly dog, Cow and Chicken, etc. Oh, and those were just the shows I've watched when I was little and doesn't cover my entire childhood. :P

I know, that show was the best.

There are DVDs on Amazon, but they're so expensive. Plus I can't seem to find a single boxset, so they'd all have to be bought individually. This is truly a sad day.

I never really cared for Zoids, but I'd watch it now and then when it was on in the morning before I had to get ready for school.

I thought it was a good game; a classic I guess you could say. Although Goldeneye rivaled better...

Did anybody else here used to watch Pirates of Dark Water? I loved the show and the Sega Genesis game when I was a kid. I was thinking it would be awesome if they did a reboot for Cartoon Network. I mean, the Thundercats reboot is absolutely awesome, so I figure Dark Water could, too.

A friend and I were recently talking about Warcraft 2, and he reminded me of how you could take the game disc and put it in a CD player and it would play the soundtrack for you. I got my old disc and tried playing the soundtrack on my computer, but only the game would play :(
I tried finding where I could buy the soundtrack, but it doesn't seem to be available for purchase anywhere. Here is one of the tracks on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NB0f6FyCwic

I remembered watching ECW {before they got took over by WWE} on the old TNN network, and at first I was kind of squeamish when I saw people beating each other up with just about anything, but after a while I kind of enjoyed it, too bad ECW didn't last very long after the WWF/E had their Attitude Era. {Seriously, they need another one fast, I hate all that PG crap that they have now.}

And before anyone says it fake, pro wrestling was meant to be entertainment first and foremost, not a true athletic competition.
