As long as they are in the Metal Archives they count. You just need to list 10 Metal bands you like and Goatchrist, Ghoul, Idiosyncratic or myself will decide if you can join.

It's funny you should say that because I am listening to 'Let Mortal Heroes Sing Your Fame' by Summoning, and it's almost totally drums and keyboards, yet it's still godly epic. They're from Austria too so I'm guessing you might have already heard of them.

So, anyone here have any new album?

I just got "A matter of life and death" (Iron Maiden) and "United Abominations" (Megadeth)

So I was with some friends today, and I decided to check out a music store's metal section. After searching for stuff that I liked, I found Satyricon's album "Rebel Extravaganza" I was going to buy it, but I decided not to. I also decided the metal section's offering of black metal was paltry at best, and it was dominated by death.

Anyways, did I make a good decision with the not-buying of Rebel Extravaganza?

Time for my very biased opinion.

No. Satyricon sucks, even if I liked black metal I still would think so. Unless they have Dark Medieval Times, don't even bother with Satyricon.
