Yeah transgression was/is fucked...I wish they would had revisted the days of concrete and soul of a new machine. suffer age man.

Damn, what's up with all the Power Metal hate recently? Also, if anyone knows of any Folk band's that use only clean vocals, that would be nice. I'm thinking something in the vein of Vintersorg, with the Folky vibes and clean vocals.
?
Act of God by Fear Factory.
Officially the song that would send you to the hospital for whiplash.
I know of some viking folk, not sure what you consider clean vocals though.
Equilibrium ?
Moonsorrow ?
Korpiklaani ?
Einherjer ?
Metsatöll ?
and of course Ensiferum
Those are some, but this isent really my area, bro.

Yeah definetly archetype was great, but concrete was the most brutal -- Desecrate, ulceration, soulwomb, crisis, big god raped souls, arise above oppression.
That was some badass shit.
Sorry about your friend Bonemill. hang in there man.
also welcome to our newest member. and Devildriver are listed as metalcore, but i don't care. they are fucking awesome. the new album is great.
Got the gear, got the gas, got compression. My direction is cast to the concrete.

Although you weren't recommending them to me, but thanks for mentioning those bands since I should know where to start whenever I want to give black metal a try.

Clean would be a normal singing voice. Devoid of any growls or any harsh vocals.
Equilibrium
Moonsorrow
Einherjer
Metsatöll

you must like pansy shit. like the stuff that comes out of norway and sweden. hahaha.
Norwegian and Swedish pansy shit? Explain. Just to tell you, I'm not fond of you being a part of this club, but I'll give you a chance, but I'll have my eye on you, trust me on that.

WAAF?
lol wut?
I only listen to Anaal Nathrakh at night, To Creep myself out, Along with some Black Metal.
Don't know if this has already been discussed, but I'll ask anyway:
What do you think about Behemoth? They're my one of my favourite bands, and I love both their black and their death albums... I am really fascinated by their lyrics, too. Nergal is one great songwriter, and Inferno is one hell of a drummer... There is no Behemoth album I don't like, but my preference goes to "Demigod" and "Sventevith (Storming Near the Baltic)". They're the best in nowadays death metal, along with Nile.
I'll be seeing them live on October, and I'm really excited! I hope Nergal will spare some of his time with the fans, I want my copy of "Endless Damnation" to be signed. :-D

It seems like Bill and I are the only Doom lovers here. Oh wait, I forgot that Alex from California (Ghoul) likes Funeral Doom and Upstate NY Alex (Sense-Offender) likes some Classic Doom.
NEVARMEEND.
Well, you've found another Doomster. :-D I'm both into classic doom (Candlemass, Cathedral, Reverend Bizarre, Pagan Altar) as well as gothic/doom (Anathema, My Dying Bride...).
Do you know Faith? They're from Sweden, a great doom band. Check out both of their albums, "Salvation Lies Within" and "Sorg".
Well after about a month of seeing the Metal Hell floating around in the C&C and saying "i should join" and then never joining, here I am.
I'm not a huge metal aficianado that has hundreds upon hundreds of bands in his library, but I do like metal a shitload.
My favourite bands:
Týr
Wintersun
Ensiferum [i don't have any albums, so i just listen to myspaces and random mp3s D:]
Aes Dana [ditto to the above statement]
and I really enjoy black, viking and folk metal above the other genres. I listen to a lot more bands than my above list, I just wouldn't put them in that list because I don't listen to them as much as I do the other four. I could list the bands if necessary, though.
I'm trying to expand my metal library by actually getting albums from ensiferum and Aes Dana, along with black metal CDs and just more albums in general.
I'm sorry Metal Hell, but I need to come clean.
I think the following bands are shit:
Ensiferum
Norther
Kalmah
Job for a Cowboy
Nile
Eternal Tears of Sorrow
Dir En Grey
