So, closing in on page 1000, I thought I'd drop by. Sorry I've been so inactive, I haven't had much to talk about. But, my brother did put about ten Meshuggah songs on my computer, and I was very impressed. They are pretty damn good.

All genres have their fair share of unoriginality. Thats what makes certain bands better than others.
All genres have their gems... all have their lamers.

Seeing him in November :D.

He's the lead singer of another band called Shadow Gallery, another prog metal band.
Not sure if they're worth checking out, but then again there's only one song to go by when it comes to judging his singing (for Ayreon).

And I decided to check out Annihilation of the Wicked. Listened to it a few times and to be honest, I wasn't really impressed with the album. Perhaps I'll give it a few more chances later.

I'd recommend to not post here anymore since you might give everyone the benefit of the doubt whether or not you live under a rock that plays nu-metal and older music.
Seriously, though, I don't think you'll be getting in.
And just like that....he was gone...

I can't say I'm particularly enthusiastic about downloading any of their stuff if the singing in that song is anything to go by

I have Battle metal on CD, and I've downloaded the Varangarian Way( getting on Cd as soon as I have thecash). However, the link to the EP is greatly appreciated as I don't yet posses that in any form.
I was only put in Turisas on Pandora to see if I could find some more stuff like them. But seemingly, to Pandora at least, there's nothing else that soudns like them = S
Haha god, you guys in here are so pompous.
You're not above everyone just cos you listen to metal.

If you look at his profile you'll spot Megadeth (spelt correctly too).
You're all too quick to assume KoRn fans know nothing.
I'll give him a chance.
Good ^_^.

Megadeth isn't an instant in for me. I don't care for them. Also I didn't assume KoRn fans know nothing, look at jarry.

Unfortunately your rank isn't higher than that of a cockroach either ;)
FUCK THE CHILL OUT!
Anywho, I do agree.
There are alot of unoriginal and boring bands in any genre of music, and there are always the gems to the genres. It's like that with almost everything in life.
Also, check out thise blogspot, if any of you haven't. :

Ya... but its still a credible band... and it could still show some promise.

If he doesn't get rejected, and he has good taste in metal, I will definitely never say that again, and will apologize to him.
But that won't happen ;p.

I suppose it is, but I'd say at least 7 out of 10 bands you list must be credible metal bands.
I made that up just now, it seems that it's fair. 6/10= 60%=fail.
7/10=70%=pass

Well he mentioned 4 bands..... three of which are credible.... Ozzy, Sabbath, Megadeth.
Thats 75% there... its only out of four bands... but still... the majority shows promise.
Cockroaches can live for a week without a head.
That's pretty metal.

The rule was established that 10 bands must be posted in order for your consideration for membership, ok?
Four, obviously, is not enough.

I do know that.... I've been around long enough.... longer than you I daresay ;).
The point I was making was that telling him to go away was a tad unfair, considering based upon his preliminary list, he could of fulfilled the requirements.
And this club has kind of lost its way... we're about introducing people to Metal are we not?
Wouldn't it make more sense to let people who are vaguely interested in? As opposed to those who are already introduced?

When did you join? I joined on page 212.

I didn't say to him, "go away". I said, I'll give him a chance.

That would be the point, and we have done so. I, being an example.

Dunno exactly... but I'm sure Ghoul or someone mentioned that you joined a few pages after I did.
I'm really not excited by the prospect of looking through god knows how many pages to find out when.
I didn't say to him, "go away". I said, I'll give him a chance.
I know... but 0peth did.
And you're sticking up for your buddy are you not?
That would be the point, and we have done so. I, being an example.
We do, do so, indeed.... but there seems to be a threshold where there probably shouldn't.
Hmmm, i've been away ,longer than I thought. (ZOMG!ALMOST 24 HOURS!)
Anyway, i'm pretty sure that this was created as a club for people who already like metal...Good metal.
