I joined really long ago. Page 157, but I wasn't nearly as active in this thread as I was in Crap_Clock's "Favorite Metal Band Of All Time?" thread on the General forum, if anyone remembers it. But that thread is long gone, and almost everyone who used to post there has left NG (-Tharikifa-, neoman5, TehGaySatanist and a few others I can't remember at the moment).

I remember that thread and those people. TehGaySatanist changed his name to something else and posted in the metal hell for awhile. I don't remember his name though.

Do you guys accept metalcore and alternative metal bands as metal such as disturbed and killswitch engage? Or do you think they are metal filth such as nu metal?

Metal filth. Also Alternative Metal is just a less derogatory way of saying nu-metal. Metalcore is accepted only when it's in good taste, which really doesn't exist.

We do accept Crossover Thrash though.

Seed (R.I.P.) Listen to both of there songs on there and see what you think. They got more songs, bu they don't seem to be on there. They are Death Metal/ Hardcore. And yeah I know two of the band members are like fat, but they are still good..

lolwow. I missed that episode. I used to watch that show. I remember looking forward to it remembering the old Buck Rogers spoof with Daffy Duck.

And I don't care if it perpetuates negative stereotypes or whatever, I still think Metalocalypse is funny. Also, King Diamond voice acting for them = win.

I do, But i am really getting sick of metalcore. I like it when As I lay Dying and KillSwitch Engage did it, but now it seems like bands are doing to sell more records (I mean the whole hard core verse with the emo Chours) and be played on MTV.

As with Alternative metal. I like it. ANd i like Nu-Metal because i grew up listening to it
