Yes I am. Where else would I find that judgment?
I'm not a fan, but I have their latest album and while it's not even remotely as good as its reputation, it's still an above-average release.
I think it is an excellent release. Great Power/Thrash.

If it's black metal, will you burn churches (not that I condone that, mind you), kill your bandmates, and take a photo of your suicide?

Dragonforce=gay. The guitars are amazing, and pretty much everyone but the singer is ungay, but he just turns up the gay level about halfway to Queen...

Symphony X is kinda near where I live. They're from Middletown, New Jersey and I live in Goshen, New York. I think that's somehwere from 45 minutes to an hour away. Then there's whatever bands that come from NYC (all that comes to mind is Behold the Arctopus). I don't know if any of that counts as "near by". That term is very vague.

I guess they're the Carlos Mencia of metal.

Funny you should say that because when I read his post about Trivium's thievery I immediately thought "Lol, Dane Cook."

Did he really steal from Louis CK or is it a coincidence? I saw a video comparing jokes and thought it was similar, but could just be a coincidence. If he really did steal his material, then damn, I hate him. Louis CK is one of my favorite comedians.

I'm rarely humorous, but at least the few times I try to be funny, it was thought up by myself.
Also, he's half German ( which pissed me off, because I have the same nationality as him) and his name is Ned Holmes (probably incorrect spelling of his last name).
And just like that....he was gone...

similar, but no way to prove 100%. if similarities is all there is, that is not enbough. you can speculate all you want. People can draw the same conclusions from time to time. besides if we stopped liking every person who stole riffs, tabs, jokes, ect. then there would be no one left.
so lets say he did steal all those jokes. he still has his own material and it is still good.

No he's Honduran/Mexican. His actual name is Ned Arnel Mencia; he went be Ned Holness until he was 18.

Yeah, I saw the video too but to me it definitely seemed like he stole it. Is it possible that it was a coincidence? I guess, but I don't think it was.

I shouldn't have to provide proof since it's common knowledge around here.
There's more evidence out there, I'm sure.
Listen to the end.

And how about this? George Lopez physically attacked Mencia becuase Mencia stole a bunch of his material (I think about 13 minutes).

Okay, live in denial.
He still has his own material, but it is unfunny shit.

something that people ought to be slapped for saying because it was never funny in the first place, but it gets repeated over and over.

Yeah, I was going to post the Cosby one. Cosby's one of my favorite comedians. I've had Bill Cosby Himself on tape for years.

It's a damn shame. Good comedians put work into their material and these assholes just take it, rewrite it a bit, and make money off of it without doing much real work. If Vanilla Ice can be sued for ripping off Queen, these "comedians" should be sued as well.

made me lol, nothing like a guy getting some form of comeuppance, i also got In Sorte Diaboli and whilst its not black metal, its actually quite enjoyable, well i listened to it for the first time whilst running through a 50 min stint on the cross trainer and it made it a little easier :P

Is four different comedians telling stories about different incidents not enough proof? Should I be able to make money off of other peoples shit by making subtle changes to it and calling it my own? With the Dane Cook thing I can give him the benefit of the doubt, but Mencia is clearly guilty.

That was never funny to me anyway. I don't even care if he's making fun of mentally handicapped people or not. Sorry for the double post.

Well I just picked up a double bass pedal for those of you that drum and i'd like to say its the hardest thing i've ever tried to learn in my life, I have no idea how the metal drummers of today get them at 400 bpm, its incredible.
The only instrument I play is a hand drum and I have no training or anything. I play it for fun. I guess I'm pretty good. At least that's what people tell me.

drumming, something i would truley love to be able to do but i will never have the speed to. i cant even imagine what 400 bpm sounds like, let alone how to produce it :P and then have different beats going with the hands i would get confused and pass out into any sort of drum kit i attempted on :P
Also calling all kamelot fans "the ghost opera" is a very decent album i personally wouldnt say its quite as good as The Black Halo or maybe Epica but still worth a listen and the new Dark Tranquillity album rocks! Misery's Crown FTW
I finished recording a black metal song w/o vocals. Sadly Putfile sucks major donkey balls.
