As far as I know power metal is gay. Especialy in concers. It's a bunch of marry gay guys in tight pants and shirtd that show the most of their chest. Plus they wear mostly leather. I have nothing against power metal, don't get me wrong, I just despise those who make it.
By the way, don't you think that Isreal's fist black metal band look like posers? They don't put on corpse paint or anything, they look thesame as on that picture during shows. They are a damn good band but the look like rockers at most.

Immortal... they're good, but Alexis his the man... his so not the best guitar player... but what he does sound fucking good!! And it's the mixte of everyone that makes them (To me) the best of all!

Thats exactly what i was trying to say. All of Bodom's members are great at what they do and when they all come together the music is isane.

cob is great for their type of metal, but the best overall i think is in flames. close second is fear factory.
Death are by far better than CoB and In Flames. All the members were (most still are) awesome, the lyrics were awesome, everything was awesome. Death is much better than Cob. Since Control Denied is pretty much Death it also is better than CoB. Theory In Practice are better than CoB as well. I'm not talking about my own taste but about the complexcity of the music, the message of the lyrics and the talent of the musicians.

You talk to someone that saw both... Children of Bodom and InFlames in concert.... I luv InFlames.... their 3 guitarist are superbe together. Their songs sound so fucking good.... but nothing to compare with CoB... it was said already bu in their style are the best! That's a fact, all agree... but as overall Metal band all categorie... I (that's my personal opinion) found for their originality and power in the lyrics/sound they are still the best. About InFlames they are freaking good also, I felt in luv with them after I saw their show in Californie! But I felt in a deep coma when I heard CoB in montreal... just too good ^^

Their old.... I don't even think they do music anymore... I agree that they are good, but their last Cd was when..... 5-6years ago if I'm not wrong

Arguing Children of Bodom against Immortal? Let me finish this:
Children of Bodom are not black metal. They are speed/power metal with harsh vocals. They fucking pwn the hell out of that genre (which includes bands such as Sinergy, Norther, Kalmah, etc.).
Immortal ARE black metal. They are absolutely wonder just like other bands in their genre such as Emperor, Mayhem (De Mysteriis and before), Burzum, Darkthrone, etc.
They cannot be squared off against eachother, for they are not of the same genre. They both own in their special little ways. The end.

Like the last 2 or 3 shows before Detroit had to be cancelled because he was sick, so I was hoping our show wouldn't be cancelled, but it wasn't! It rocked! I also caught Blackie's guitar pick!

As I said, they're speed/power metal with harsh vocals. The vocals are anything but black metal, and the guitar riffs, paired with Janne's keyboarding, make them the aforementioned genre. If you want more proof, check here. ;D
