Exactly! Shit, I went to the same venue to see Rush back in June and I had a lawn ticket then; people started moshing to them (only to Tom Sawyer, though). Haha.

Tom Sawyer, awesome song, I just HATE the lyrics though, they do no justice to the melody, beat and intensity...

Rush generally have amazing lyrics (Neil is a wonderful writer), but you're right. Tom Sawyer's lyrics just don't go with the song, hah.

Still Zack Wylde can kick their ass and he makes better music.

Screw poking the ashes! I got some napalm! Now this place will get hot!

*gets out the napalm and starts a huge fire*

Ah, napalm, just like Vietnam! Now let me find something to talk about while we stare at the fire. I know, why don't we try and build the ultimate band? I begin:

Drums: Dave Lombardo of Slayer.
Vocals: (damn I forgot his name) Pantera's vocalist.
Guitar: Chuk Schuldiner of Death.
Guitar: Abbath of Immortal.
Bass: Tom Araya of Slayer.

If words were wisdom, I'd be talking even more.

I just heard a cover of Pant In Black on RageOfOrders' radio thingy! It wasn't as good as the original but still it was good. Brings back good memories.

vox:hmmm...rodney james dio(dio)

i have no idea how this band would sound but i would buy their album

Response to Metal Hell 2004-07-26 14:12:26

drums - Jukka Nevalainen (Nightwish)
guitar - Kurt Cobain (Nirvana)
bass - Abbath (Immortal)
vocals - Axel Rose (Guns and roses)

It would sure be funny as hell to see them all on stage! I wouldn't waste any money on their albums or shows but just the thought of them together is funny as hell.

There was a dead giutarist in my previous band so it's okay. It's just a hipotatical band so it doesn't really matter.

HEY, I'm back :) nice to see this place still growing fast.

How's anyone? I'm just fine, had a great time, I bought:

In Flames - Clayman

Well, I seriously think it's the best album they ever made, even a bit better than Colony.

I also got an In Flames shirt, and a Hypocrisy shirt as well :)

NP: Arch Enemy - We Will Rise

So, it's 3 AM here :P I'll be around for a little longer though

Response to Metal Hell 2004-07-26 21:26:14

guitars - Jesper Strömblad(In Flames)
bass - Peter Iwers(In Flames)
Vocals - Anders Friden(In Flames)

The ultimate band? Shiiiiiit, son. HOW COULD YOU FVKKING FAGS LEAVE OUT ALEXI LAIHO!? :P

Guitars - Ihsahn (Emperor)

Fine, you are in :)

Well, I saw something about top 10 metal songs right now? I'll list mine(no particular order):

1. In Flames - Pinball Map

I'm so obsessed with this song right now...I just love it.

2. Arch Enemy - End Of The Line

Love the chorus, it just rocks, I'm so glad that Angela is their singer, not the crappy old one they had...

3. In Flames - Only For The Weak

Awesome solos, lovely vocals and chorus, awesome stuff.

4. In Flames - Satellites and Astronauts

Nice mix between ballad elements and heavyness, awesome, best solo on the whole Clayman album.

5. Children Of Bodom - Needled 24/7

Sweeeeeet, I love that one, awesome guitars.

6. Children Of Bodom - Black Widow

Awesome song, great drum and guitar work(well, as always).

7. Kalmah - Kill The Idealist

One of the best solos I have ever heard, going through almost the whole song. Amazing.

8. Kalmah - Hades

Same here, great solo, and especially a long one.

9. Dark Tranquillity - Nether Novas

I always get in a weird mood when I listen to this one. Their singer's voice is amazing.

10. Soilwork - Bursting Out

Awesome and catchy song, very very very great.

NP: Dark Tranquillity - Nether Novas
