I think, literally, we all listen to Manowar.
Here I am, bored with everything.

Just because they haven't been mentioned in the past few days doesn't mean nobody here listens to them.
We used to talk about Manowar constantly.

I love Manowar. Their new CD is awesome.
And the dude who mentioned Gorgoroth, you're in. I love Gorgoroth as well.
What about nevermore?
I havent read anything about nevermore in this topic. Jeff loomis is one hell of a guitarist. Anyone else like them?
HAPPY DAY!!!
Ragnarok (with bonus tracks) finally arrived.

I like them too. I listen to them fairly often, actually, though I don't have any of their CDs. All I have is the Final Product from This Godless Endeavor on one CD with songs from other bands.
I hear a lot of their stuff on Pandora.

I've always wanted to say it.

I've decided to check out black metal a little more, so far I'm listening to some Immortal, and it is pretty damn good
and I'm glad to see my friend (stealth-bomb666) got in

I deleted almost all of the Black Metal from my iPod except for Gorgoroth and Rotting Christ.

Gorgoroth and Rotting Christ win.
Black metal is good (Ghoul has hooked me up with some good bands), but the production can ruin some songs (some are too quiet, others are too loud).
I stick with the first and second wave of black metal, mostly (Emperor, Immortal, Venom, Bathory even though viking metal, whatever)
I do like some other bands like Naglfar.

Also, Bathory.

To be honest, I'm slowly deleting a lot of Black and Death temporarily so that I find new bands in replacement that aren't so fucking redundant.
Don't get me wrong, I love Death and Black metal, but if a band sounds the same and just screams with eye make-up on, it can get really old.

Father To Son=best Bathory song, ever.
Here I am, bored with everything.
Also, Naglfar.
Metal is such a large piece of me now. Even with slowing down on Black, I still listen to a ton of Thrash and Power.

That award goes to Home of the Once Brave, Blood and Iron, or Born for Burning for me.
My favorite Bathory song is Nordland. Always has been.
Damn it, I've been up all night listening to mostly power metal. I've never felt so restless in a very long time, but now I'm starting to tire out and my ass is aching. I'm going to Columbia early tomorrow to conduct an interview with someone, and I'll probably end up feeling like shit. So I'm going to log off now.

I strongly reccomend Tyr. Agalloch and Borknagar are also very good.
i just checked those bands up....very impressed by agalloch, lots of good build-ups and tension going on, and they mix in the accoustic elements really well, they sound almost like post-rock in places, but heavier. i thaught it was cool how borknagar can pull off entirely accoustic songs aswell.
RZZZZZZ

I listen to them. Great band, I'll want to get Battle Hymns quite soon since the title track is a very good song. I should also get Warriors of the World sometime soon as well.

I've listened to a tiny bit of black metal and yeah, the production I heard from the songs is quite bad. I'd check out some more black metal bands, but there's some bands I really want to get some of their albums (Accept, Avantasia, Grave Digger and Running Wild).

NOT NECESSARILY!
I like Father To Son, and One Road to Asa Bay.
I own Hammerheart, the only Bathory album I own, so of course I'm biased towards it.

I've listened to The Legacy 15 times in the past 4 days.
Anybody know anything else like Testament's The Legacy or Darkness Descends by Dark Angel?

Well for Darkness Descends I would pick Vio-lence's Nothing to Gein or Eternal Nightmare.
Also, Carnivore's self titled

I'm sick of people who have aliases like METALHEADFRANK, and their favorite bands are Slayer, Pantera, Metallica, etc.
Not that those bands are bad, but they're generic.
