Yeah I know the last good show that was here was Belephegor and Unleashed with krisuin I missed it and had metal kittens now im stuck dealing with more gay core acts at local shows for another month it's hard to find good legit metal bands here but Im kind of lazy anyway.

Iron Maiden, because out of Halford and Dickinson, I prefer Dickinson's singing. I like Halford's singing as well, I just find Dickinson better. Another reason is that Maiden has Steve Harris, one of my favourite bassists. Also, Iron Maiden have some of my favourite albums such as self titled, The Number of the Beast and Powerslave. :)
Tough Question, but I'm going with Maiden.
I like the tuning/sound of their guitars and Dickinson's vocals a lot. They're calm, but still heavy, and just overall a more unique band than Priest.

Well, to answer my own question, I go for Judas Priest too. When I hear tracks like Painkiller, One Shot At Glory or Ram it Down, Maiden just don't get close. I prefer their speed-metal edge over any Maiden.
For some reason, Dickinson's vocals just turn me off. They are okay, but nowhere near brilliant (for me).

they should still come to Boise every now and then, the only time one did that was good that I can think of was Gigantour, and I couldn't go because of school

Anyway, we had our proper *debut* show last night, with at least 3/4 of the band being sober enough to play. I think that I saw one of the biggest crowds I'd ever seen for an opening act at The Rosemount. It was pretty intense.
As far as I know, it didn't get taped, but I'll get hold of the usual photos and crappy quality phone footage sometime soon ;D
