Personally, I never cared too much for Metallica. Larz Olrich is one of the most over-rated drummers ever.

However, I like Megadeth. I've seen them live before.

After Master of Puppets and the Black Album Metallica just kinda seemed to get worse.
But on St. Anger they totally lost it. It also has no solos. I like my solos.

What do you think about Petri Lindroos being their vocalist? I've heard Dragonheads and while it still sounds like classic Ensiferum, the vocals seem a bit weak now. Plus his other band Norther is shit.

Norther was before Ensiferum, so it doesnt count. And its a whole entire different genre, and ya, they make melo death sound too clean and pussy.
But I was listening to some songs for sample off their new album, and I enjoy the vocals very much. Ensiferum will always be one of my top fav folk metal bands. I dont associate them with the singers melodeath band, because..well..its just an entire different band, not fair to compare.

Still Life, and I heard part of Blackwater Park. I don't think they're horrible, but there are better bands out there who play similar music, like Agalloch.

Those are some pretty solid albums.
